Tonight I am sharing a fancy fold card. I have used the stunning large bauble from beautiful baubles as my main focal image coloured with Stampin' blends and made a pop down card. I finished the card off on the inside using the smaller baubles image again from beautiful baubles.

Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas #6 2018

Heart of Christmas

This week I am using Signs of Santa mixed with under the mistletoe designer series paper for a pretty simply card that would be quite easy to mass produce. I used stampin' blends to colour in the santa but if you die cut santa from santa's workshop speciality designer series paper the card would come together even quicker!

I haven't photographed it but the pool party oval the letters J & Y and the santa sit on is die cut from the pool party matt that the designer series paper covers. It is a great way to save cardstock and no one would ever know if you didn't tell them! I made this card in a class recently and the ladies loved the tip of die cutting extras from the matt.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop - #16 Early Espresso

Colour-creations
Our sixteenth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is early espresso from the neutrals collection. I have chosen early espresso, coastal cabana and garden green from the color coach to work with today.
Early-espresso
Often, my card idea and finished card vary greatly from each other and this week is a perfect example of that. I was going for a watercolored background with die cut dragonflies and a thank you sentiment (so the finished cards could be used for customers orders). As you can see, I achieved all of the above but not a simplified design that can be easily recreated many times over. The inlaid embossing technique with the die cut whilst it is extremely pretty, it is very time consuming.

Going back to the drawing board, I came up with version 2 of my thank you card for my customers that is easier and quicker to reproduce. No inlaid embossing this time but I used the baby wipe technique on the dragonfly wings instead (and then coloured the wings with wink of stella for added bling).

Try it Thursday #21- Stampin' Up! Cherry Blossom Birthday Card

I was inspired by this stunning card made by Connie Collins to create today's birthday card featuring cherry blossoms. I used the baby wipe reinker technique to get my variegated blossom colour using flirty flamingo, blushing bride and petal pink ink refills.
