July Sketch for You to Try from Reverse Confetti

Well, today it's my turn to share my latest card for the JULY SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from REVERSE CONFETTI. I thought I'd try mixing a little old with a little new and I think it all turned out pretty sweet!

I still had a few of the strawberries on my desk from the new BERRY SWEET stamp set and BERRY SWEET Confetti Cuts, so they became the stars of the show.

SFYTT
I then started with the LEAVES COVER PANEL as my background.  When the pieces didn't exactly fall out, I kind of liked the look of that, so I secured them from the back with strips of washi tape and glued the whole piece to my card base.

I used the large dots from the older FRIGHT NIGHT 6x6 paper pad as my diagonal piece and cut the green LACY SCALLOP FRAME Confetti Cuts as a backdrop for the new ROUNDED TOP LAYERS Confetti Cuts.  Then all I added was the sentiment circle, the strawberries and a few silver sequins for a little bling.  I do have to say I am loving that color combo!

Here's a look at what I used today. Y'all be sure and head on over to the Reverse Confetti Blog

to see what the other gals have created for today, and all the details on how to play along for a chance to win a Reverse Confetti Gift Certificate! It would sure be sweet if you played along!  LOL!

Countdown to Confetti: Mahalo and Berry Sweet

Well, we are on day three (the last day) of our JULY sneak peeks from REVERSE CONFETTI, and today will be no different in sharing some more great new products available tomorrow. What's your favorites so far? There's so much to be excited about!  Everything is just so amazing, especially all those new ink colors.
The last two stamp sets being debuted today make the perfect summer essentials and would actually be cute not only for cards, but scrapbook layouts too.  We're playing with the new MAHALO stamp set with coordinating MAHALO Confetti Cuts along with the new BERRY SWEET stamp and Confetti Cuts sets.

I'm in love with the island feel of the new MAHALO stamp set.  The little coconut drinks were so easy to stamp as they are an outline, but have solid stamps to add the color of the coconut, umbrellas and straws.  The strip along the edge of my card is from the new UNDER THE UMBRELLA 6x6 paper pad.  I can tell that thing isn't going to last me long!  I accented the drinks with some more flowers from the BUILD A BUNCH stamps and BUILD A BUNCH Confetti Cuts.  The flowers, umbrellas and sentiment all use the new ISLAND BLUE and MAGENTA inks.  I also created some tiny fringe, shaped it and attached it to my coconut drinks for a fun touch!

My second card has such a "Strawberry Shortcake" feel and that was exactly what I wanted!  I cut my base pieces, including a pink base (that you can't see), a square of some of the new patterned paper, a red strip, and the new THANKS SQUARE Confetti Cuts.  Before I attached the "thanks", I used my Zig Clean Color watercolor markers to create the ombre look over the lettering.

Then I stamped the strawberry, sentiment, leaves and cut the little white flower also from the BERRY SWEET Confetti Cuts set.  I glued everything together, but left the "thanks" without glue so that I could slip the strawberry and the sentiment right under it.  Don't keel over--this card had NO pop dots!  LOL!

Okay, that's about all for me for now--Just so y'all know...everything will be available on the 8th--that's tomorrow!  Meanwhile, don't forget that you can check out the link list going below daily (JULY 5-8) for all the sneak peeks.  You'll want to leave a comment for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate.  We'll wrap up with a blog hop on the 8th as well that y'all won't want to miss.

Countdown to Confetti: No Tomorrow and Magical Day

Well, welcome to the second day of our JULY sneak peeks from REVERSE CONFETTI. We're excited to keep going with some amazing projects and lots of new stamps, dies, paper and ink to show off today that will be available on JULY 8th!

Today we're going to party like there's NO TOMORROW with a cute dinosaur stamp set by the same name with matching NO TOMORROW Confetti Cuts.  The second set we're featuring is called MAGICAL DAY that's perfectly princess everything!  And of course our little princess has her matching MAGICAL DAY Confetti Cuts.

I started my "Jurassic park" card by cutting the new background, SQUARED OFF COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts from a slice of patterned paper from the new 6x6 UNDER THE UMBRELLA pad.  I then layered it over the GRAPE SODA cardstock for my base.  I used a portion of a PIERCED ROUND TOP LAYER to serve as a base for my sentiment from the SENTIMENT ESSENTIALS stamp and Confetti Cuts.  The dinosaurs are colored with my favorite watercolor pencils.  They are so cute!

This little princess MAGICAL DAY is absolutely the sweetest set ever!  I gave her a "Beauty and the Beast" feel, coloring "Belle" and her castle with Copic markers.  I created a frame from two different sizes of the PIERCED ROUND TOP LAYER Confetti Cuts and adhered it to another one cut from white.  Speaking of white, both of my cards today feature our new PREMIER POLAR WHITE amazing cardstock!  YES--you NEED to add this to your wishlist!

Once my backgrounds and base layers were complete, I wanted to add something as a "high profile" embellishment.  What better thing to use on a princess card but some flowers!  I stamped them from the new BUILD A BUNCH stamp set in ABYSS, CORAL and GRASS inks.  The 16 added colors of ink really fill in the "blank spots" to round out your ink collection.  Anyway, after cutting the flowers with my BUILD A BUNCH Confetti Cuts, a simple enamel dot and some Stickles here and there finished this little beauty off!

Okay, that's about all from me today!  Come visit me again tomorrow!  We have lots more sneak peeks to share over the next 2 days.  Then, everything will be available on the 8th.  Don't forget that I have a link list going below daily (JULY 5-8) for all the sneak peeks.  You'll want to leave a comment for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate.  We'll wrap up with a blog hop on the 8th as well that y'all won't want to miss.

Countdown to Confetti: Banners in Bloom

Well, I've been in crafting/creating mode off and on for the last couple of weeks, getting ready for this July release from REVERSE CONFETTI.  Let me tell y'all, I've had the MOST FUN creating with these new products this month!  Over the next few days, I have 7 cards to share that show off 7 new stamp sets, 11 new Confetti Cuts sets, a new 6x6 paper pad, and 16, YES SIXTEEN  new inkpad colors (that also come in the small cubes and reinkers).  So anyway, let's snap to it and get this show on the road!

Today we are introducing 3 different stamp sets and their coordinating dies, one of which is called BANNERS IN BLOOM and the BANNERS IN BLOOM Confetti Cuts.  You may also see something else new here!  Oh and y'all, I'm SUPER EXCITED to share a new smooth white cardstock we will carry called PREMIER POLAR WHITE that is so perfect for Copics and solid images (100lb).  You'll definitely want to give it a try!

BANNERS IN BLOOM is a beautiful new floral set, perfect for minimal coloring, watercoloring or adding as much detail as you want!  I chose to use one of my new favorite mediums, watercolor pencils (from Adornit--they are the BEST!) this time.  I'm really still learning with them, but the blues just spoke to me for this banner.  A few of the sentiments from the BANNERS IN BLOOM set fit perfectly inside the floral adorned banner, whereas others are also a great addition to your cards and can be used with the other floral sprays in the set.  The backdrop for my focal point is something new as well.  It's a new die set that I literally cannot put down--the PIERCED ROUND TOP LAYERS.  For this card, I cut a larger one in black and the next smaller size from some older RC patterned paper before adding the main images and a TON of ribbons, embellishments and swarovski crystals.  More is MORE, right?

Ok, here's a full look at the new goodies I used today,
and a list of REVERSE CONFETTI girls that are sharing their creations:
