Well that's what they say anyway....who ever "they" are, right??? So we will just go with it for this post.
My time on the Pink by Design design team has come to an end. (sniff, sniff) Sarah and the rest of the girls on the team were great to work with.
Here is my card:
On my card I used the "happy love day" from Pink by designs Love always set
. I love this set!! Can't wait to use it more once Valentines day gets closer.
Paper is by Stampin' Up, ribbon is Bazzill, the monekys are part of the Changito the Monkey line from Stampendous stamps.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays.
See you in 2011!!!
Happy Saturday everyone....are you ready to get your "hop" on??? Well of course you are!!
When you are ready to go to the next blog in the hop either click the picture above or here is a link to Nikki's blog http://www.theglamoroussideofscrapping.blogspot.com
And if you need to start over here is a link to the first blog in the hop http://www.glitterstampsandpaperohmy.com
I know it is a super busy time of the year for everyone, so I will keep this short and sweet.
Patterned paper is by Basic Grey Jovial
Background paper was made by lovable old me...lol! No but seriously, it is just SU! kraft cardstock, stamped with a cheapie damask stamp from HL using Tim Holtz distressing ink in walnut (stamped off 3x) then sprayed with iridescent gold by tattered angels. I don't *love* gold...but it just seemed to go with this card.
SU! ornament punch, SU! satin ribbon
$1 stamp from Micheal's....this just goes to show you don't have to buy all those expensive stamps to make nice cards. ;)
Thanks for stopping by, and if you are not a follower already....make sure add yourself. I do giveaways all the time, and I would hate for you to miss any :)
Enjoy the hop!!!
In case you have not had the privilege to see Peachy Keen stamps or use them, here is a link to their store
....go ahead fill up your cart, you will be glad you did!!! I absolutely adore their stamps for several reasons...the images are ADORABLE, the quality of the stamp is the best, and I happen to be lucky enough to live only 20 miles from Peachy Keen headquarters so I have had the honor of meeting most of the Peachy Keen family...and they are the SWEETEST people you will ever meet.
The challenge this time was to make an encouraging card. That's not too hard with all their adorable, cheery smiley stamps. Here is my card, I hope you like it!!!
I used the faces from Snow Cuties
and Funshine faces
. They are some of my favorite sets!!
The paper is all Stampin' Up.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with their family, it's one of my favorite holidays.
Ok,ok I know last time I said that Bountiful blessing was my favorite Pink by Design set to date....but this is my new fave!!! If you have not ordered Scripte year yet.....trust me you will want this set!!! So versatile!! Click here to order this set
Papers are from Imaginisce's Enchanted line
Flower is an Imaginisce rolled posie.
Have you tried the pearl pens by Viva decor?? Omg....they are fabulous!!!
See the little pearls going down the ribbon, those are done with the Pearl pen.
They can be hard to find in the US right now, I bought mine from Terri at Stamps Alive.
