The Troy Nature Society (TNS) holds its annual Nature Uncorked Wine & Beer Tasting event every fall to support the Stage Nature Center. Recently members of the TNS Board of Directors and members of the Nature Uncorked Committee made the necessary decision to cancel this year’s in-person event which was scheduled to be held on Friday, November 6th. While we are committed to keeping everyone safe and healthy and doing our part to contain the spread of COVID-19, we are also determined to stay the course and continue raising funds to support the Nature Center. We are asking your support of this year’s Virtual Nature Uncorked fundraiser with a “virtual ticket” contribution made online or check sent by direct mail. Your generous contribution will go a long ways towards supporting the activities of the Nature Center. More information is available at troynaturesociety.org/natureuncorked.
This year the Stage Nature Center is holding a Virtual Walk & Run for Nature Fundraiser. Your support is needed! Choose a day and time of your choice to participate and/or donate from now until the end of August. Please consider making a contribution to help support the Center. Receipts will be issued. Remember to post your pictures and videos on social media with #StageNatureCenter. Simply click the link below to contribute, then head over to your trail of choice.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the Troy Planning Commission has held only one meeting between February 25 and June 23. It was a "virtual" meeting and it was held on April 28.
The April 28 minutes will not be posted on the City website until they have been approved at the next Troy Planning Commission meeting. As soon as the Planning Commission meets and approves the 4/28/20 minutes, I will post them here.
In the meantime, you can click here to view the Agenda Packet from the April 28th meeting.
You can also view (below) the video of that meeting that was posted to YouTube.
