OCEANIC is one of my first experiments in pouring acrylic paint on canvas (and other surfaces). I am enjoying this new interest, however, I am also anxious to get back to my oil paintings. I have so many opportunities for exhibitions this season and have been procrastinating and experimenting with new modalities...too easily distracted lately.

This original oil painting of an angel was created from my imagination. I didn't have a pre-conceived image of the angel and just allowed my moment to moment intuitive impulses to paint her. Nice texture developed in the background when I applied paint with my palette knife. I am very happy with the result!
This heavenly guardian Angel Of The Heart is a perfect Valentine's Day gift, housewarming or new baby gift.
