Grab a bargain!!
Hello and I do hope you don't mind my "non cardmaking" posts. I guess I will find out how many unsubscribe for that answer!!
As you know for Christmas I treated myself to a little needle felting kit and I have fallen totally and utterly for it. Since Christmas I have been selling lots of older stamps and dies and getting money for my felting stash and I am a wee bit addicted to "fluff". Part of my Ebay fund was spent on a couple of kits, one of which was the Lincolnshire Fenn Crafts
I finally got around to making it and I am pleased how it come out. Still lots to learn and I would love to find a class to go to but failing that there are people out there like Sandy from Lincolnshire Fenn Crafts who take the hard work out of it and make these lovely kits. Everything you need to make one complete animal, very detailed instructions jam packed with photos, a sponge, needles, beads and of course wool... literally Everything you need to complete the project.
Caiden decided that this fox was called Freddy :)
A funny story about where Freddy is sitting for the above photo. This morning in the pot behind him was a lump of leather off an older armchair we have broken
up to take the dump. Our "real" Foxes decided to bury this piece of
leather along side my spring flowers!
Needless to say the leather has been rehomed in a rubbish bag.
What a beautiful day to be a fox!
I can not wait to get started on my Hare and Cat kits from
If you are remotely tempted to try needle felting I would have a
look at their designs :) and tell them Caz sent ya for some Wooly fun!
According to the Days of the Year web site, Thursday 2nd March was World Book Day. For our challenge this week take your inspiration for making your card from a book … adults or children’s book whatever you prefer.
I made this card for today's Create & Take at work and I thought it fitted the book
"The Dressmaker" by Rosalie Ham.
I admit I have not read this book, I think I would enjoy it but I do fancy the film
I have no clue why?!

Its challenge time again over at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and this week it is a sketch.
Here is the sketch and here is my take on the sketch.
I decided that I wanted to play with Poppy the Owl
from Karen Burniston HERE
I also used a few things that were lying close to hand such as the Sizzix tree that
I used as branch, and the Sizzix Cloud at the bottom of the page.
A simple card, but sometimes simple is good eh?
You can see all the other designs on their blogs

Welcome to a NEW challenge for me.
This is the Paper Pros Challenge and it is Challenge Number 001!
What or who are Paper Pros?... well we are a group of Crafting Friends, brought together by our love for the Karen Burniston Products and we formed the Karen Burniston Designer Challenge Team. Now firm friends and firm crafters we all decided with the Karen Burniston Design Team without our challenges we wanted to keep ourselves busy with Monthly challenges. Just for fun, anything goes product wise and just to be part of a team, together creating and hopefully inspiring you all still! Thrilled that our "Team Leader" Karen Burniston wanted to play with us too!! And Karen is joining in.
Summer was the lady to kick our challenge into the start line and her challenge is :
How about shaking it up? --- a challenge all about shaking... Whether a
shaker card or action wobbler... Just a whole lotta shaking going on
Now me being last minute dot.com I had to make some Valentine gifts.
A little choccy box for 4 special people.
I used the Tonic Studios Gesture Box this cute
little box is big enough to hold a small chocolate. Such as a
ferrero rocher But for Valentines I popped some chocolate hearts.
The image was stamped with a Taylored Expressions Grumplings set
and I mounted the circle onto a concertina of card to create a "Wobble" platform.
You can see the rest of the teams creations on their blogs :
I am not sure if all are playing along every week, we are doing
it as a kind of relaxed thing. No stress just fun!!
I hope you enjoy seeing us back together.
