A TO Z
An Acrylic Painting
by CBC
SOLD
There are twenty-eight gallery-wrapped canvases in this alphabet sampler painted by Canvas by Canvas.  Each square is unique, featuring a different background, color and design, and font style.  Painted in warm neutrals with metallic copper and gold accents, the detail is exquisite and has to be seen in person for the beauty of each square to be appreciated.
Each of the CBC artists painted on several squares in this collaborative effort and signed her name on the canvas edges. The artists believe this piece illustrates the art of language in alphabetical order!
Although this original piece has been sold, one can still have a poster made from it as did one of our daughters for her child's nursery wall.  Order through www.canvasbycanvas.com.

STAMPEDE - Mustangs - Breckenridge Gallery

This acrylic painting by the collaborative artists of Canvas By Canvas was inspired by the famous Las Colinas, Texas sculpture. Wild mustangs such as these were once important inhabitants of much of Texas.   STAMPEDE is painted on five Ampersand deep wood cradled panels measuring 20" x 16" each.  When combined the panels create a painting totaling 20 inches tall and 80 inches wide.  No frame is necessary as each panel hangs separately to create a panorama of the wild horses running through the water . . . . Awesome!

This painting and much more will be on display at the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center just west of the Dallas-Fort Worth area from March 5 to April 13.  Visit the gallery http://www.breckenridgefineart.org/Future-Shows.html or the Canvas by Canvas website http://www.canvasbycanvas.com

PIGEONS FROM THE PARKS - by Elizabeth Mitchell Taylor

The Parks Mall in Arlington is getting a major re-do. There were many small pigeon statues throughout the mall, up in the rafters and high beams. These were donated, and after being redecorated by area artists, the newly beautified pigeons will be auctioned off in November to benefit River Legacy Park. Stay tuned for further details on how YOU can get one of them!

In another collaborative effort, each Canvas by Canvas artist has selected a pigeon to repurpose - "Golden Girl " is the contribution of artist Elizabeth Mitchell Taylor - This pretty gold pigeon looks like she has laid a giant goose egg. Nestled in soft turquoise feathers on a golden platter, the egg may just hatch soon!
