Then God saw
everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and
the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31
So God finished His
creation. Every day He had said ‘it is good.’ On the sixth day though God said,
‘it is very good.’
That’s the kind of world
that God left us. His creation was the epitome of perfection. There was nothing
wrong with it. It was

“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the
cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the
earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created
him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to
