Golden Irises

Hey Friends! Happy NOVEMBER!!! This year is just flying by! On today's creation I wanted to create a golden hue... I know iris's are not normally golden. :)

I used the image from Art Neko called Framed Bearded Iris and Butterfly

and stamped it in Black Tuxedo ink and used Copic Markers to color in the image. Popped it up with some Dimensionals. Then using the GORGEOUS patterned papers from Art Neko, I cut an oval using Spellbinders and created some ribbons along the mustard cardstock. On the Saffron cardstock, I ran it through my Big Shot with the embossing folder. Then tied a bow to finish off the project.

Thank you for taking a look today!

CAS404 La Rosa Meditativa Inspiration

Hi Everyone - This week Kelli Jo wants us to be inspired by a work of art from Salvadore Dali. Scope out some of his paintings and find one that jump starts your creativity!

Find the gallery: HERE

My inspiration came from this peice: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...AVkQ_B0InAIwCg and created my project. I did not have a cloud stencil, so I created my own with cardstock and sponged the edges.

The stamps I used were Unknown Rose, Stampin' Up! Birthday Banners , Whisper White cardstock, Sky Black Memento Ink,
Stamps: Unknown Rose, Birthday Banners
Accessories: Colored pencils, Sponge, home made cloud stencil, dimensionals

Autumn Leaves

Hi Everyone! Fall is here and it my FAVORITE time of year. I love the smell of the crisp air. The sound of the crunching leaves and the colorful leaves and variations of greens on the trees and grass.

I also love this fun fall set from Art Neko. It offers lots of Versatility.I had fun with the sketch. I even pulled out some old designer papers that seemed to coordinate with the color challenge and looks good with the challenge too.

Using the Set of Leaves, Acorns, and Kanji by Art Neko , I stamped in Black Memento Ink. The papers I used are Island Indigo, some old, old, scraps of Patterned paper, Early Espresso, Whisper White. I colored the images using Copic Marker colors: Copics, E44, BG72, YR, E23, E27. I cut out the image using Spellbinders Circles and popped it up using Mini Glue Dots.

To finish off the project, I used the
Metallic Foil Leaves available at Art Neko and adhered them using Mini Glue Dots. I decided to add some flair to the project with the Viva Pearl Pen in brown.

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for taking a peek!
