Hello, Hello – We Have Some News!

Hello everyone. It’s been nearly a month since we have posted here, and for a reason. We had technical issues and were not able to post, thus our absence. But now we seem to be back in business with many thanks to the powers that be behind the scenes.

However, in the meantime, we’ve been busy and started a Brand New Blog. That move has truly been long overdue. We all need a make-over and refresh from time to time, and this is our time!

This is the image of our new blog bearing the name Create with Stamp Simply.

We invite you to check it out and once there please subscribe (on the right sidebar of the home page) if you have not already. That puts us in your email inbox with each new post.

And, just teasing a bit, but we will be posting a NEW SALE over there come Monday, so be sure you are subscribed to get first notice.

And YES, THIS BLOG will still be here with years and years worth of inspiration and card samples by our very talented Design Team. We will be posting new content on the new blog, but the content of this blog is still here and waiting for you to scroll through as you check out all the lovely card samples.

May Your Cup Runneth Over – by Karen Letchworth

Good morning to all. Today we seem to be having a reprieve from some pretty high temps, which can be tough on us northerners! I can enjoy my nice, hot morning coffee on a cooler porch this morning, which pleases me immensely. Karen is here today sharing a wonderful coffee card in lovely blue and creamy colors using stamps, dies and papers we all love from our coffee series.

Rustic and Classy Thinking of You – by Judy Rozema

Sometimes it is just the simplest of ideas, or color schemes or layouts that makes a card so stunning. In this case Judy hit the nail on the head with a basic rustic/country color scheme of kraft and black, some simple stamping in black ink, combining images from some country themed sets, then adding a simple sentiment to POP on the card front. It’s so very classy, yet with that rustic/country vibe we all love so much. Take a look:

A Card for Juneteenth – by Deb Felts

Juneteenth is our newest Federal Holiday in the US. It is celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the ending of slavery, commencing in Galveston, TX on June 19, 1865. It had taken more than two years for the people of Galveston to finally receive the “news” that the slaves had been freed as a result of Abraham Lincoln’s January 1, 1863 Emancipation Proclamation. Deb Felts created this gorgeous card and as she went to physical therapy school in Galveston, today’s holiday brought to mind the beaches and shores of Galveston, so she ran with that theme.

Isn’t this just stunning with the beachy colors, papers and accents (cheesecloth and pearly button).

That scripture verse, so perfect for today, is from Liberty Bell by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The numbers, tags and stars are cut using Collector by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

Masculine Forest – by Esther Asbury

Good morning to all! Esther is here today sharing a wonderful masculine card. She is on a mission to replenish her stock of masculine cards after Father’s Day. It’s always such a good feeling to have a nice stash to grab from when you need a card. We all seem to gravitate towards making feminine cards, so it always pleases me immensely to see some masuline cards added to our inventory of card samples.

I love the rugged woodsy feel to this card.

Both the buck and sentiment are from A Godly Man by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners steel die set by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The silhouette trees were cut using Tree Line by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).
