|Good morning everyone. It's Saturday - time for a new Gem of a Challenge from Polkadoodles shop! You can find our challenge blog here: A Gem of a Challenge.
To see a quick 20 second video showcasing the sparkle, texture, and dimension of this card, check out my Instagram post HERE.
I've used a couple different images for my "tall and skinny" card today. The first is called Frosty Wrap Up Warm. I've paired it with Frosty Tree Time to create my scene. They are so cute! I printed these sweeties onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I cut them with my scan n cut, and created this Distress Oxide Inks background using a stencil, and added the hills using dies, Wink of Stella, and Copics. Dies are from Paper Smooches and Elizabeth Craft.
Our challenge is, as always, Anything Goes! My sentiments are from the Baked with Love sentiment bundle.
Our Gem of a Challenge challenges run for 2 weeks, so you've got lots of time to link up. Check out the challenge blog HERE.

Today's project features more of the new release stamps, dies and stencils that dropped into the store this month. So much FUN! Today I've used stamps from the Thanks a Bunch collection, how gorgeous is this cascade of flowers???
I've stamped the floral image onto Bazzil textured black and heat embossed them in white using Nuvo Detail white embossing powder. Then I colored these beauties using metallic colored pencils. Mine are a set from Stampin' Up that I've had FOREVER. The photo shows them looking a little streaky but in reality they blended much better.
I then stamped the peeking kitty image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. I fussy cut him and layered behind the flowers by cutting along the edge of the embossed image with an Xacto knife and tucking the cat behind.
I die cut the "smile" twice, once in white and once in metallic gold, and layered them together before placing them over the top of the card. I love the classic fall colors I've gotten with this card, they're so rich and beautiful (even though it's snowing again - it's still fall, y'all!!).

Billy Winston’s family is going to see him happy and in love if it’s the last thing they do.
Beard Necessities, the final standalone in the bestselling romantic comedy Winston Brothers series from New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Penny Reid, is available now!
No one deserves a happily-ever-after quite as much as the second oldest Winston brother and his lady love, Claire McClure (aka Scarlet St. Claire). Cruelty and circumstance tore them apart almost twenty years ago. Secrecy and bitterness kept them separated.
But you know who's tired of their separation and stubbornness? Everyone. Especially Billy Winston’s family. And now they're going to do something about it.
Well-meaning interference meansthe star-crossed lovers can’t stop tripping over each other in the hills of Tuscany, the catacombsof Rome, and the waterways of Venice. Billy and Claire find themselves thrown together and at the mercy of the Winston siblings’ shenanigans.
But will their forced proximity bring them together? Or push them even further apart?
This second-chance romance brings back the entire Winston gang, playing cupid in one last story of love, hi-jinks, and family collusion.
BEARD NECESSITIES is a full-length contemporary romantic comedy, and can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s probably best read after books 0.5, 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the Winston Brothers series.
