Easy Bridal Shower Favor

I made these favors for a friend's bridal shower who loves tea. These were made with Dollartree boxes (8 for a $1) and silk flowers from Wal-mart. Each box contained 4 herbal tea bags and were each tagged with the tags I made using the Papertrey Ink Wedding Favor set. I used Very Vanilla and Kraft paper both from SU! and Creamy Caramel ink from SU! as well as Berry Sorbet ink from Papertrey Ink.

I do have pictures that are MUCH better than this that show the entire display of favors and when I find them I will edit this post.

Simple sparkling space birthday card.

I am sharing a spacial card I made for a friend's son who is obsessed w/space. The special part is that there was no stamping involved and the saying shown in the next photograph was something that I came up with and then printed out. Plus, I was looking to use some supplies that I had been accumulating. All of the supplies above are DCWV and the stars were punched using my SU! large star punch.

I'm Back...

Ok, so technically I wasn't really gone but lazy (not that, that sounds any better). I really have created a ton of stuff over the spring and summer but the reality is that my first priority is my day job which quite often ends up being my evening/middle of the night job and since my full-time is computer intensive I sometimes need a break. That being said I am going to make a concious effort to share more here to at the very least have a diary of my crafting ventures.

Easy Wrap

I've hoped to be able to post more frequently but I haven't been successful just yet. When you work all day in the technology field you eventually have even less of a desire in the evening to hop back on the computer when you don't have to.

That having been said I have been creating to unwind when possible, now I just have to get to posting.

I did however have to wrap a present yesterday and decided to look no farther than my craft stash for the paper for something bright and cheery. The striped note card and the floral /orange paper used on the package were all Target $1 Spot finds. The green Ric-Rac was also a Target item tucked away in my supply stash.

Cherry Blossom Gift Set

I'm back and hope to be posting a little more regularly (I am really going to try to) but the last few weeks have been crazy. I have grown quite fond of Papertrey Ink's Out on a Limb set. It is a pratical set which is always a good buy in my eyes. Below is a card and candle set I threw together. I love cherry blossoms and that is what I was trying to replicate here.
