It's been a long, long, long time. More than a year since the last post! So sorry!
So much has happened in a year, I won't go into all that here but rather just feel this page should be updated.
Back in March I made the decision to leave retail for awhile and concentrate on creating more instead. I am so happy for that decision with no regrets though I do miss all the friendly faces of my regular customers. Some of them have found me and come to see me at my new digs....The Studio Downtown!
My husband and I actually took the leap and decided to live Downtown. We found a great apartment in an old funky building (I think an old municipal building or courthouse) we are located right next to the Courthouse in Downtown Winchester in the McEldowney Building. Our apartment is on the 4th floor (a floor which we share with a Federal Judge...pretty cool!) The apartment is very "retro" and just my style...I am having so much fun decorating and making it our home!
So....after moving here ourselves in February as I was walking through the building one day it occurred to me that maybe I should just move the studio here as well. The second floor was basically vacant and full of office spaces so I went and talked to the landlord and voila! New studio space!
The studio is now on the second floor of the same building and occupies two of the spaces there....one space to move Magenta Moon to (that was the name of our co-op boutique shared with other artists) and the other space for The Paper Peddler! While I do not keep regular hours (this is a play space) I do encourage anyone to make an appointment to come by. The space is available to rent out for other artists who would like a place to teach a class or have a trunk show, etc. Here are just a few photos of the new space. And also, as always I am still happily selling on Etsy! If you scroll to the bottom of this page you will find a link to the Etsy shop :)

The Paper Peddler has moved into g.r.i.t.s.

The Paper Peddler has now officially moved back into a brick and mortar store!!!
Yay! I have missed all the people and going on's in Downtown Winchester so I am very happy to be back again! We are now located inside g.r.i.t.s. at 39 S. Main Winchester, KY
The store is part Art Studio, part Boutique and part Cafe and Bakery...the best of all worlds!
Due to camera issues I do not have a photo today but will post pics soon.
In the meantime please check out the giveaway at the link below ;)

Here is a cute little giveaway from Fox on the Run Here

Still here!!

I'm still here!!!
Just been absent and a little absent minded, LOL!
Working on making a comeback soon.
Here is a little of what I've been doing....

"How much is too much" is hosting a challenge on there blog http://www.hmitm.blogspot.com/ Here is my attempt at the challenge which was to use 10 journal tags on a layout. I actually used 13 giving the season :) This was an extra challenge for me as I am going through old scrapbooks and redoing some of the pages that I was not too happy with. Those pages were created before there were alot of supplies out there available. Also, I used to crop my photos so small and use all my different fancy edge scissors. So,,, I am trying to use those actual photos rather than just waste and reprint photos since I do not have it in me to throw the small cropped ones away!!

Happy Tuesday fellow bloggers :) I stumb...

Happy Tuesday fellow bloggers :) I stumbled across this paper craft challenge and thought it sounded like a fun thing to do on this rainy day here in Kentucky. The challenge is from http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ go there and check it out! I know I should probably be focusing on Halloween or something but yesterday I was working on this cute little bear building a snowman and had not yet done anything with him so today I added him to this card with polka dots and stripes just like the challenge called for. Hope you enjoy!
