Happy Birthday Gladiolus

Hello!  Today I have a birthday card for a very special friend who loves gladiolus!  The stamp is from Papertrey Ink and it was colored using Copic markers and I added a little glitter using Spica pens on the flower centers and the leaves.  The patterned papers are from Melissa Francis' Kitschy Kitchen collection and Jillibean Soup's Southern Chicken Soup collection.

I made this card for two of this week's challenges. The layout is from this week's Just Add Ink (JA171) sketch challenge and the color scheme I used is from Color Throwdown #248, which was Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink and Cool Caribbean (unfortunately, I am a day late for that challenge...story of my life these days!).

Enjoy the 4th of July holiday!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks So Much Strawberries

Greetings!  Today I have a sweet little thank you card based on this week's sketch from Crazy4Challenges.  The strawberry stamp and the tag die are from Flourishes. The image was colored using Copic markers.  The leaf clusters at the top and bottom right were stamped and colored twice, then I cut one set out and popped them up using foam tape.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink  and the vine die used for the bottom border is from Memory Box.

Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Wishes

Today I am posting a birthday card I recently made for a friend's birthday.  My inspiration came from a couple of challenges.  The colors are from this week's Just us Girls JUGS 189 challenge (Cameo Coral, Sahara Sand and Crumb Cake) and the layout is from Pals Paper Arts PPA159 sketch challenge.

All supplies used are from Stampin' UP!, except the button on the bow, which is from Papertrey Ink.  The image was colored using Copic markers and the panels were cut using Spellbinders Labels Twelve, Marvelous Squares and Fancy Framed Tags.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday You Old Bird!

A friend of mine had her 40th birthday recently and this is the card I made for her.  Sadly, this is the only card I've made all month!  We are having beautiful Spring weather here in Atlanta so it's hard to get excited about spending hours inside in my stamp room!

The stamps are from Impression Obsession, the dies are from Spellbinders and the white layer was embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  Pretty simple!  I made this card for two challenges:

Runway Inspired Challenge - black and white dress photo inspiration
CAS-ual Fridays - CFC99 - Birthday Bash - make a Clean and Simple birthday card

Hope you are enjoying some nice Spring weather wherever you are!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Easter!

I have three Easter cards for you today!  This first one is my attempt at a Clean and Simple card.  The bunny is stamped on an Inchie square and matted with a shimmery aqua paper and the pink patterned paper from Imaginisce.  The bottom section was dry embossed using a Spellbinder's Elegence M-Bossabilities folder.  The sentiment, button and twine are from Papertrey Ink.

The Fluffles the Cat Easter basket stamp on this card is from Stampendous and was colored and airbrushed using Copic markers.  The patterned papers are from Imaginisce and the mat layers are Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles and Labels Ten.

And last, but not least, is a Pure Innocence image from My Favorite Things' Basket of Eggs set.  The patterned papers are also from Imaginisce and the image was colored and airbrushed using Copic markers.  The mat layer was cut using a Spellbinder's Decorative Labels Eight die.  This card was made using this week's sketch from Raise the Bar (Challenge 137).

Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Easter!
