Hello and Happy Valentine's Day!! I'm not actually into the lovey-dovey day, but having little ones makes for all types of celebrations, including this day of love.
Hello! This week is almost over and tomorrow is my Bit's birthday! It's so amazing how these little people just grow and change, and in the case of Bit, get whip smart! So today I'm featuring her birthday card using an older but still much loved Bugaboo Stamp: Cute Unicorn Trio.
And, I also managed another fancy fold! The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit.
This wasn't overly complicated, but I still like making cards that aren't the regular ol' rectangle. So I'll pat myself on the back for this little gem.
I don't really know if this fold has a specific name or not, but I saw it on Pinterest and was inspired. That is my share for today and I thank you for taking a look. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hello and thanks for stopping by! Today is my Auntie's Birthday and I've made her a card featuring a super sweet hummingbird since every year, her house is flocked with the little gorgeous birds.
The current challenge at Corrosive Challenge is Anything Goes
and is sponsored by Fred She Said - which is where this adorable image, Wee Hummingbird
, is from. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Itty Bitty Banner set. Fairly CAS card since I really wanted to focus on the image. I know she will appreciate this.
Hello and hope you are having a wonderful week. As for me, I just caught a cold and it's moving in quick! Colds usually get me put on my nebulizer and prednisone. Neither of them are really good for you in the long run, but they manage to keep me alive while my body inefficiently fights off a common cold. But, hey, I'm not really complaining, just sharing my life as an asthmatic.
But for now.....
Here's a card made for my big brother's birthday - in September. With my "use my Cricut more" personal challenge, I came upon this Cricut Nifty Fifties cut when doing my Flamingo from the start of the year and thought it would be perfect for him. We grew up along Route 66 and just thought it would remind him of home.
I made sure to keep it sequin free, but I did have to add glaze so it wouldn't look so boring. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit. I think it came out pretty good, considering guy cards aren't really my thing. So that's it from me today. Thank you for taking a look.
