Birthday Party Ewes

Hello all and goodbye to another week in January.  At least no big plans this weekend other than continue painting and fixing up my kids room - aka my ex-craft room.  I will be storing many items, but I've managed to make a small spot just for me, with limited supplies.  I don't want to have to completely give up on my fun.

Anyway, today is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps, and this is the image for todays Down On The Farm Challenge at Catch the Bug.
Now you must admit this is just an adorable image!  These guys with their "fun" eyes just make me smile.  I poke no fun at eye conditions of course - having a child with exotropia!

I've used several dies on this including Sizzix, MFT, and Little B's.  Added a few sequins to fill in empty areas and of course some glaze.
Here's a close up for you to admire all the glossy goodness :)

So that's it from me this week.  I hope you have joined in on a challenge during this Catch the Bug Birthday Bash.

This meets the following challenges:  Sieze the Birthday" AG with option of Stencils (unfortunately I do not own any stencils), Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, Watercooler Wednesday: All About Occasions, and 2 Crafty Critter Crazies: Anything Goes with a Critter.

Valentine Seahorses with Fabrika Fantasy

Hello!  I can't believe it is already the middle of January.  I really am amazed at how fast time seems to go by.  Of course I'm already making plans for my kiddo's birthday and Valentines Day.  I don't send out many Valentine cards unless there is an image that I just HAVE to use.  At the moment, I have a little bit of time and hope to make a few for friends and family - fingers crossed.

Anyway, today I'm here to share my latest creation for the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes.
I'm featuring an image by one of the sponsors:  this is Valentine's Seahorses by Fabrika Fantasy.  I've used a few of their images and I'm always happy with how clean they print out.

I printed the image twice, colored the background using a Copic/Alcohol smooshing technique.  Then I colored up the image with Copics, cut it out, and inked the edges with black so it blends with the background better.
The sentiment is using my new Cricut Air I received for Christmas - and sad to say, it isn't exactly working.  I haven't decided if I want to continue with customer service who is aware of this particular problem, or go exchange it for a new one.

Anyway, I added a bit of glaze, not sure how noticeable it is in a picture, but it is there for a bit of interest.

Thank you for taking a look at my latest creation and have a great day!

This meets the following challenges:  Let's Craft and Create: Love is in the Air, Craft Galore Encore: Anything Goes, A Bit More Time to Craft: Anything Goes, and As you Like It: Anything Goes.

Cow Trio on the Farm Birthday Card with Bugaboo Stamps

Hello and welcome to Saturday at Catch the Bug Blog, where we are celebrating Bugaboo Stamps!  This birthday bash is all about On the Farm, so there will be lots of challenges all week long with lots of farm inspiration.

I'm sharing a somewhat non-traditional looking birthday card:
Featuring Bugaboo Stamps Scene It Cow Trio.  So I'm currently moving out of my craft space to make room for my kiddo who is "old enough" for her own room.  Yeah, whatever.  Anyway, this has been a great way to realize I might have a paper addiction!!  So my personal challenge is to start using up my papers - wish me luck.

So visit Catch the Bug every day this week for a new challenge and lots of farm inspiration.

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my latest creation.  Have a wonderful day.

This meets the following challenges:  Crafty Catz: Anything Goes with Animal OptionCreative Fingers, Anything Goes, Polkadoodles: Anything Goes, and Cute Card Thursday: Embellish.

Christmas Gnomes

Hello and Merry Christmas!  Yup, that's how late I'm running.  O well.  Happy New Year too!  I did hope to share my final Christmas card makes BEFORE the end of the year, but that didn't happen.  My kiddos were lucky enough to catch the flu during their school break - I see it this way: at least they didn't miss school.

Anyway, these are my final cards:

I was gifted several goodies in December including this Simon Says Stamp set!  It was such a wonderful surprise and I managed to make two of each card - and boy was I in need of cards!

I actually pulled out my embossing supplies to put the snowflakes on this one.  I do love the look of heat embossing and hope to continue incorporating it into my creations this year.
Both of my cards were CASEd from Jill at .  I found her beautiful cards while looking for SSS inspiration.  So that is it from me.  I will continue to catch up on all the other inspirational blogs I enjoy, and my own creations and maybe one day I will actually post something on time!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hanging Lights Christmas Card

Hello and I'm back with another last minute Christmas card.  I made a few of these and added a bit of glitter cardstock to fancy it up a bit.  The fancy die is from Spellbinders.

The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit, heat embossed.  I'm not overly happy with the embossing, but I tried.  I used to love heat embossing, but I guess I just sort of stopped doing it and now I'm a bit rusty with this technique.  Oh well.

That's it.  Just a quick share today.  Thank you for taking a look.

This meets the following challenges:  Watercooler Wednesday: Anything Goes, Cuttlebug Mania: Lights (Using my Cuttlebug for all my diecuts), Little Red Wagon: Any Winter Holiday Goes, and House-Mouse & Friends: Anything Goes with option of Christmas.

  Thank you Watercooler Wednesday!!

Thank you Cuttlebug Mania!
