Happy Thursday Everyone!
I know it has been a long time since I posted, but life and work gets in the way!
I am making a new effort to start posting more regularly. So, let 's get down to the good stuff!
I am now offering Wedding Invitations and Announcements in my Etsy shop and so here is a tease:
I would love to hear some feedback on these if you have a minute!
I will be back later with new Halloween goodies!
Hi there everyone! I have a new quick card to share with you today using PaperTrey products!
One of my cousins just had her first baby girl in January and I made a crocheted baby blanket for her. She already has two boys and as any Mom of a girl knows, there is never too much pink!
This is the card I threw together to go with her present. I used Blush and Spring Moss inks and papers along with several other products.
The die cut butterfly is from the brand new Beautiful Butterflies Die Set
. I stamped it using a Hero Arts Design Block stamp and added some jute twine and a Moss Button (PTI too). The butterfly is popped up 3-D on the card. On the white layer of cardstock, I ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Quatrefoil Die.
You have to run it back forth to cut through the entire thing, so I decided to use it more as an embossing plate and ran it through once. The edges of the White and Moss papers were distressed for texture and shabby chic-ness (if that's a word!) and inked in Blush ink. "Welcome baby" was stamped from the Round & Round Limited Edition set on Blush paper using a punch from SU (I don't think you can still get this set.). I stamped polka dots from Polka Dots Basics II
in Moss on Moss paper and added more jute twine and another Moss button. I think it turned out so cute, I decided to make another one for my Etsy shop
Ok, so here is the sweet blanket I made her! It is so adorable in person! I must confess, I had many more pics of it, but I ran out of card space on my camera last night at my daughter's lacrosse game and started deleting outtakes and realized I accidentally deleted the good ones too! Bummer!
I used a free V-stitch pattern
for this blanket. (you have to register with lion brand to get the pattern) I really hope she likes it! I was so late in finishing and getting it mailed to her!
Thanks for stopping by! Hugs!
Happy New Year, y'all! Hope everyone is having a Blessed year so far! First I would like to start off by sharing a Christmas photo of the kids!
They are getting so big these days!
Here is some new stuff that I have created in 2012!
New Birthday card I created using brand-spankin' new PaperTrey Ink stamps!!
This is the new Think Big Favorites #12 and the Lace Bouquet sets. I stamped the flowers using Aqua Mist and Moss (PTI inks) to give it a multi-colored blend. The sentiment was stamped in Moss onto Aqua Mist paper and pearls were added. Easy peasy! (it's available in my shop
if you are interested!)
Muslin Favor Bags are all the rage, so I decided to try my hand at some!
Easter or can be stamped with no sentiment for Baby Showers!
Destination wedding favors!
perfect for Princess Party faovr bags!!
I think they turned out adorable!
Here is some new Easter Stuff:
You can check out all of this new stuff in my shop!
Have an awesome rest of the day! I will be back soon to share some other new stuff with ya!
Happy Wednesday, y'all!! Hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated in this heat! OUCH it's hot!
Today, 7 Kids
has another challenge for you! This week's challenge is:
Back to School!
It's almost that time of year (silently saying yay!!) and I wanted to make a quick teacher gift and card.
I used Shy Kiki LaRue
from CC Designs for my card. Something about her clothes just screams school! I decided to make a matching Post-It Note Holder to go with my card. These are super-simple to make using a binder clip, some cardstock, ribbon, post-it notes and a coaster. I used SU cardstock and Paper Studio DP.
I used these Nesties
to cut her out. I used Copics to color Kiki and blue ink to distress the edges of the stamped image.
