This is my first time with this stamp set. Unfortunately, it is retired, but I love these owls. It will be a great Valentine's day card.
The branch is colored with Watercolor Wonder crayons (WWC) and the owl is colored

The sentiment says "hey sunshine hope your day is bright". I hope it makes someone's day bright. The card is certainly bright.
Thanks for looking!

I had intended for this to be a boy's birthday card, but somehow it ended up with pink paper on it. :) Oh well, I still like it. I didn't have quite the right shade of blue to color the shark so I blended Copics C1, C3, and B24 and it was the color I was looking for. Just a simple card to get me going again. It's been quite a while since I've stamped. Thanks for stopping by!

I LOVE these trees from the Kim Hughes set from Cornish Heritage Farms. They are fun to color and paper piece. Originally, I'd used the flower tree image to cover a box of Girl Scout cookies. I thought I was going to be left with A LOT and I was trying to figure out a way to sell them if I had to buy them all...yikes! I like how it turned out, but my troop ended up being able to sell all they had.
The paper pieced tree card was inspired by a card by Jillian Deiling in the current issue of Cards (April 2009, pg 97). It isn't a complete CASE, but it is where my inspiration came from. The sentiment "Life is Good" is one of my favorite stamps from Amuse. I positioned the ribbon to make it appear as grass...or at least in my opinion it does. :)
I thought I had to work today, but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't. Now, I am spending the day doing what I want (which doesn't happen often)!

This is the Big on Christmas set from SU. The 'snow' is colored with Stickles. The snowman's hatband, nose, and holly leaf are colored with Copics. The hat is colored with black Stickles with red Stickles berries. The scallops were created with a corner rounder. There is Faux Snow all around the edges. There are dots of Stickles in the scallops and in the upper right corner. The ribbon is a light blue organza. I will be making more of these because this was a fun card to make!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
