Timbres de Noël 2025 et TAD spécial "Saint-Nicolas" sur lettre d'Allemagne 

Merci beaucoup Jens pour cette jolie lettre envoyée le 6 décembre 2025  depuis le village de St. Nikolaus (D-66351 - commune de Großrosseln), situé dans le sud du Land de Sarre, près de la frontière française !
Depuis 1966, ce village dispose d'un bureau de poste de Noël ("Nikolauspostamt"), ouvert cette année entre le 4 et le 24 décembre 2025.
Saint-Nicolas, ou Nicolas de Myre, est un évêque né au 3ème siècle en Lycie (Anatolie), renommé pour sa charité et sa foi combattive. A l'origine du personnage du Père Noël, Saint-Nicolas est aujourd'hui le protecteur de nombreuses nations et de nombreux corps de métiers, fêté le 6 décembre.
Comme les années précédentes, un TAD spécial (conception : Geo Müller) a été mis en circulation (représentant Saint-Nicolas avec des enfants et un bonhomme de neige) et il a été appliqué le jour de la Saint-Nicolas sur cette lettre !

Since 1966, this village has a Christmas post office ("Nikolauspostamt"), opened this year between 4 and 24 December 2025. 
St. Nicholas, or Nicholas of Myre, is a bishop born in the 3rd century in Lycia (Anatolia), renowned for his charity and his combative faith. At the origin of the character of Santa Claus, St. Nicholas is today the protector of many nations and many trades, celebrated on December 6th.
As in previous years, a special postmark (design: Geo Müller) was put into circulation (depicting Saint Nicholas with children and a snowman) and it was applied on Saint Nicholas Day on this cover!  

Plus de 35000 lettres d'enfants ont été reçues l'année dernière par ce bureau de poste de St. Nikolaus.
Le timbre à gauche (0,95€, conception : Thomas Steinacker à partir du programme d'intelligence artificielle générative DALL-E) est un des deux timbres de Noël ("Weihnachten") émis le 3 novembre 2025, représentant ici un paysage enneigé baigné d'une lumière du soir, une forêt et des animaux.
L'autre timbre de Noël, ci-dessus à droite (0,95€ + 0,40€), conçu par Gerda M. Neumann und Horst F. Neumann, reproduit une scène de la Nativité (naissance de Jésus dans l'étable près de Bethléem) telle qu'elle est figurée sur un vitrail de la chapelle Nicolas-Gallus à Ratisbonne. 
Les trois auréoles de couleurs différentes sont particulièrement saisissantes. Malheureusement, aucune information n'existe concernant l'âge du vitrail, son créateur ou l'atelier verrier concerné...
More than 35,000 children's letters were received last year at this post office in St. Nikolaus.
The stamp on the left (€0.95, designed by Thomas Steinacker using the DALL-E generative artificial intelligence program) is one of two Christmas ("Weihnachten") stamps issued on November 3, 2025, depicting here a snowy landscape bathed in evening light, a forest, and animals.
The other Christmas stamp, above right (€0.95 + €0.40), designed by Gerda M. Neumann and Horst F. Neumann, reproduces a scene from the Nativity (the birth of Jesus in the stable near Bethlehem) as depicted in a stained-glass window in the Nicholas Gallus Chapel in Regensburg.
The three halos of different colors are particularly striking. Unfortunately, no information exists regarding the age of the stained glass window, its creator, or the glass workshop involved... 

   

Série "Les champions du monde Nika et Domen Prevc" sur lettre de Slovénie 

En Slovénie, le saut à ski est bien plus qu'un sport. C'est un état d'esprit, une émotion, un moment partagé où l'on retient son souffle, où l'on s'élève aux côtés du sauteur et où l'on admire avec une immense fierté ce petit pays démontrer une fois de plus sa place au sommet de l'élite mondiale du saut à ski – une place qu'il occupe depuis des décennies. 
La saison 2024-2025 a été à nouveau remarquable pour le saut à ski slovène, en particulier lors des championnats du monde de Trondheim en 2025 où Nika Prevc et Domen Prevc, frères et sœurs, ont été doubles champions du monde, respectivement en petit tremplin et grand tremplin et en grand tremplin et par équipe.
Le 26 septembre 2025, la poste slovène a mis en circulation 2 timbres en leur honneur, afin de célébrer ces exploits de Nika Prevc et Domen Prevc sur le toit du monde.
Ces 2 timbres (conception : Mario Petrak, tirage : 25000 chacun), imprimés dans un même feuillet composé de 6 timbres (3 paires), ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 5 janvier 2026 depuis Kranj, la ville d'où est originaire la famille Prevc. Merci beaucoup Petra ! 
Ski jumping is much more than a sport in Slovenia. It is a way of thinking, a feeling, a shared moment when we hold our breath, when we soar alongside the jumper and watch with deep pride as our small country demonstrates once again why it belongs at the very pinnacle of the world ski jumping elite – where it has been for decades.
The 2024-2025 season was another remarkable one for Slovenian ski jumping, particularly at the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim, where siblings Nika Prevc and Domen Prevc became double world champions, respectively in the normal hill and large hill events, and in the large hill and team events.
On September 26, 2025, the Slovenian Post issued two stamps in their honor, to celebrate Nika Prevc and Domen Prevc's achievements on the roof of the world.
These two stamps (designed by Mario Petrak, print run: 25,000 each), printed in a single sheetlet of six stamps (three pairs), have been used on the cover below, sent on January 5, 2026, from Kranj, the Prevc family's hometown. Thank you so much, Petra!  

Nika Prevc (née en 2005), représentée sur le timbre à gauche (tarif "C" pour un envoi standard international - 1,96€ actuellement), a été la grande star de la saison 2024-2025. Avec 15 victoires, dont dix consécutives, deux médailles d'or aux championnats du monde et un deuxième gros globe de cristal, elle est devenue un symbole d'excellence sportive.
Le point culminant de son hiver a eu lieu à Vikersund en mars, lorsqu'elle a établi le record du monde féminin en vol à ski avec un saut de 236 mètres.
L'autre timbre (tarif "D" pour un envoi ordinaire international 1ère classe - 2,21€ actuellement) est consacré à Domen Prevc (né en 1999), double champion du monde. A Planica, le lieu de prédilection des slovènes pour le saut à ski, devant un public conquis sur le tremplin des Frères Gorišek, il a réalisé un incroyable saut de 254,5 mètres, nouveau record du monde.
Domen Prevc a été aussi vainqueur du globe de cristal de vol à ski 2025 et vainqueur de la Tournée des quatre tremplins 2025-2026.
A noter que leur frère, Peter Prevc, avait déjà été aussi honoré sur des timbres émis respectivement en 2016 (champion du monde de vol à ski et vainqueur du gros globe de cristal en saut à ski) et 2022 (champion olympique par équipe mixte).
Nika Prevc (born in 2005), featured on the stamp on the left (rate "C" for standard international mail - currently €1.96), was the undisputed star of the 2024-2025 season. With 15 victories, including ten consecutive wins, two gold medals at the World Championships, and a second overall World Cup title, she became a symbol of sporting excellence.
The highlight of her winter season came in Vikersund in March, when she set the women's world record in ski flying with a jump of 236 meters.
The other stamp (rate "D" for standard international first-class mail - currently €2.21) is dedicated to Domen Prevc (born in 1999), two-time world champion. In Planica, Slovenia's favorite ski jumping venue, before a captivated crowd at the Gorišek Brothers ski jump, he achieved an incredible jump of 254.5 meters, a new world record.
Domen Prevc also won the 2025 Ski Flying Crystal Globe and the 2025-2026 Four Hills Tournament.
It's worth noting that their brother, Peter Prevc, had already been honored on stamps issued in 2016 (Ski Flying World Champion and Ski Jumping Crystal Globe winner) and 2022 (Olympic Mixed Team Champion). 

   

Série de bienfaisance "Orchidées 2025" sur lettre du Luxembourg 

Le 25 novembre 2025, la poste du Luxembourg a mis en circulation la 4ème et dernière partie (4 timbres) d'une série de bienfaisance illustrant différentes espèces d'orchidées locales parmi les plus remarquables.
Conçus à partir de photographies de Marianne Majerus, ces 4 timbres (tirage : 75000), imprimés chacun en feuillet de 10 timbres, ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 18 décembre 2025 depuis Luxembourg, la capitale. 
A noter cet élégant TAD spécial illustré "Joyeux Noël" incluant différentes décorations d'arbres de Noël. 
On November 25, 2025, the Luxembourg Post issued the fourth and final part (four stamps) of a charity stamp set illustrating some of the most notable indigenous orchids in Luxembourg.
Designed using photographs by Marianne Majerus, these four stamps (print run: 75,000), each printed in sheetlets of ten, have been used on the cover below, sent on December 18, 2025, from Luxembourg, the capital.
To note this elegant special "Merry Christmas" ("Joyeux Noël") illustrated postmark, which includes various Christmas tree decorations. 

L'épipactis à larges feuilles (Epipactis helleborine - 2,40€ + 0,30€) est l'espèce d'épipactis la plus fréquente au Luxembourg et colonise de préférence les forêts et leurs lisières.
Également présente en forêt, la grande listère (Neottia ovata - 2,40€ + 0,15€) se caractérise par ses deux grandes feuilles remarquables, presque opposées, qui constituent un signe distinctif évident. En revanche, l'orchis tacheté (Dactylorhiza maculata - 1,70€ + 0,15€) pousse dans des habitats bien différents : présente dans les prairies humides et les pelouses calcaires, l'espèce est connue pour sa capacité de croisement avec des espèces de Dactylorhiza très proches afin de donner naissance à des hybrides.
Sur les pelouses sèches et ensoleillées, l'épipactis pourpre noirâtre (Epipactis atrorubens - 1,20€ + 0,10€) exerce un attrait particulier. Son délicat parfum de vanille attire de nombreux pollinisateurs et en fait un véritable trésor botanique.
The broad-leaved helleborine (Epipactis helleborine - €2.40 + €0.30), the commonest type of helleborine in Luxembourg, can be found in woods and on the edge of woodlands.
The common twayblade (Neottia ovata - €2.40 + €0.15), whose name is derived from the two impressively large leaves that are almost opposite each other and offer a sure means of recognition, can also be found in wooded areas. The heath spotted-orchid (Dactylorhiza maculata - €1.70 + €0.15) prefers a very different environment: it grows in marshes and grasslands and is known for its ability to cross-pollinate with other closely related orchids in the dactylorhiza genus to create hybrids.
In contrast, the dark-red helleborine (Epipactis atrorubens - €1.20 + €0.10) displays its particular attractions in dry and sunny grassy areas. Its delicate vanilla perfume attracts many pollinators and makes it a real botanical treasure.  

   

Timbre "80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies" sur FDC de Moldavie 

De nombreuses administrations postales (Wallis-et-Futuna, Tunisie, Slovénie, Saint-Marin, Kazakhstan, Moldavie, Nations Unies, Philippines, Namibie, Inde, Émirats Arabes Unis, Belarus, Maroc, Serbie, Monaco, Pérou, Slovaquie, Pakistan, Algérie...) ont émis des timbres en 2025 consacrés au 80ème anniversaire de la création des Nations Unies, reproduisant le logo officiel de cet anniversaire (pour certaines) et parfois son slogan associé, "Construisons notre avenir ensemble". 
Pour rappel, 51 pays ont fondé l'Organisation des Nations Unies en 1945 suite à la ratification de la Charte des Nations Unies à San Francisco le le 24 octobre 1945. 
Le 24 octobre 2025, Journée des Nations Unies, la poste moldave a mis en circulation un timbre (14 MDL, tirage : 20000, conception : Veronica Coroli), imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres, consacré à ce 80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies ("Organizația Națiunilor Unite – 80 de ani de la fondare"). 
Several postal administrations (Wallis & Futuna, Tunisia, Slovenia, San Marino, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the United Nations, the Philippines, Namibia, India, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Morocco, Serbia, Monaco, Peru, Slovakia, Pakistan, Algeria, etc.) issued stamps in 2025 commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
These stamps reproduced the official anniversary logo (for some) and sometimes its associated slogan, "Building our future together."
As a reminder, 51 countries founded the United Nations in 1945 following the ratification of the UN Charter in San Francisco on October 24, 1945.
On October 24, 2025, United Nations Day, the Post of Moldova put into circulation a stamp (14 MDL, print run: 20,000, design: Veronica Coroli), printed in a sheetlet of 10 stamps, dedicated to this 80th anniversary of the United Nations ("Organizația Națiunilor Unite – 80 de ani de la fondare").  

Ce  timbre est présent sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus (tirage : 150), avec TAD de Chişinău (MD-2012). Merci beaucoup Nicolae !
Ce timbre représente simplement l'emblème des Nations Unies et la mention "1945 - 2025", sans le logo officiel de ce 80ème anniversaire. 
Aujourd'hui, l'ONU compte 193 états membres. Ses principaux organes sont l'Assemblée générale, le Conseil de sécurité, le Conseil économique et social, le Conseil de tutelle, la Cour internationale de Justice et le Secrétariat, dirigé par le Secrétaire général. 
La République de Moldavie est devenue membre de l'ONU le 2 mars 1992, quelques mois après sa déclaration d'indépendance, et n'a jamais été membre non permanent du Conseil de Sécurité à ce jour.

This stamp simply depicts the emblem of the United Nations and the inscription "1945 - 2025", without the official logo for this 80th anniversary.
Today, the UN has 193 member states. Its main organs are the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the Secretariat, headed by the Secretary-General.
The Republic of Moldova became a member of the United Nations on March 2, 1992, a few months after its declaration of independence, and has never been a non-permanent member of the Security Council to date.  

   

Timbre "Journée mondiale de l'environnement 2025" sur FDC de Corée du Sud 

Le 5 juin de chaque année est célébré dans le monde entier comme la Journée mondiale de l'environnement, un moment privilégié pour la communauté internationale afin de réfléchir à l'importance de la protection de l'environnement et de s'unir dans ses efforts.
Cette journée commémorative a été instituée en 1972 lors de la Conférence des Nations Unies sur l'environnement humain à Stockholm, en Suède, et est depuis devenue le plus grand événement environnemental au monde. Chaque année, la cérémonie officielle rassemble des personnalités clés de différents pays, des représentants d'organisations internationales, de nombreuses entreprises et des leaders de la société civile du monde entier, tous réaffirmant leur engagement commun à résoudre les problèmes environnementaux. 
La République de Corée a également démontré son engagement international en faveur de la protection de l'environnement en accueillant avec succès la 28ème cérémonie de la Journée mondiale de l'environnement à Séoul en 1997. 
June 5 of every year is observed globally as World Environment Day, a time for the international community to reflect on the importance of environmental conservation and to participate together in its efforts.
This commemorative day was established in 1972 during the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment held in Stockholm, Sweden, and has since grown into the world's largest environmental event. Each year, the official ceremony brings together key figures from various countries, representatives of international organizations, numerous businesses, and civil society leaders from around the globe, all reaffirming their joint commitment to addressing environmental issues.
The Republic of Korea also demonstrated its international commitment to environmental protection by successfully hosting the 28th World Environment Day ceremony in Seoul in 1997.  

28 ans plus tard, cet événement mondial important s'est tenu à nouveau en Corée en 2025. La cérémonie, qui a eu lieu à Jeju, avait pour thème "Mettre fin à la pollution plastique". Elle visait à favoriser un consensus mondial sur la gravité des problèmes liés au plastique et à renforcer la détermination commune à résoudre ce problème.
Le 5 juin 2025, la poste coréenne a mis en circulation un timbre (430 won, tirage : 528000), conçu par Kim Mihwa et imprimé en feuille de 16 timbres, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus, avec TAD de Nambusan du 10 juin 2025. Merci beaucoup Ji-Ho !
Ce timbre oppose avec force la beauté sereine et immaculée de la nature, réinterprétée à travers une version moderne de la peinture de paysage traditionnelle coréenne, à la dure réalité d'un environnement ravagé par la pollution plastique. Cette métaphore visuelle nous rappelle avec force l'urgence et l'importance de protéger l'environnement.
De petits gestes au quotidien, comme réduire notre consommation de plastique jetable, privilégier les produits recyclés et réutiliser les matières plastiques, peuvent collectivement engendrer des changements significatifs pour préserver la nature et garantir un avenir durable. 
28 years later, this important global event was held again in Korea in 2025. The ceremony, which took place on Jeju Island, was themed "Ending Plastic Pollution". It aimed to foster a global consensus on the seriousness of plastic-related problems and to strengthen the shared commitment to solving this issue.
