Timbre "Liberté, célébration des 250 ans de l'indépendance des États-Unis" sur lettre d'Ukraine 

En 2026, le monde célèbre le 250ème anniversaire de l'indépendance des États-Unis d'Amérique. C'est le 4 juillet 1776, à Philadelphie, que treize colonies britanniques ont proclamé la création d'un nouvel État fondé sur les principes de liberté, d'égalité et de droits humains inaliénables.
L'Ukraine et les États-Unis partagent une histoire de partenariat relativement courte mais significative. Le 25 décembre 1991, les États-Unis ont officiellement reconnu l'indépendance de l'Ukraine, et des relations diplomatiques ont été établies entre les deux pays le 3 janvier 1992.
Depuis lors, les États-Unis ont constamment soutenu la transformation démocratique de l'Ukraine, le développement de ses institutions et le renforcement de la sécurité internationale. Depuis le début de l'invasion russe à grande échelle, les États-Unis sont devenus l'un des principaux alliés de l'Ukraine, lui apportant une aide militaire, économique et humanitaire. 
In 2026, the world marks the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America. It was on July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia that thirteen British colonies proclaimed the creation of a new state founded on the principles of freedom, equality, and inalienable human rights.
Ukraine and the United States share a relatively short yet meaningful history of partnership. On December 25, 1991, the United States officially recognized Ukraine’s independence, and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on January 3, 1992.
Since then, the United States has consistently supported democratic transformation in Ukraine, the development of institutions, and the strengthening of international security. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, the United States has become one of Ukraine’'s key allies, providing military, economic, and humanitarian assistance.  

Le 26 mai 2026, la poste ukrainienne a mis en circulation un timbre (tarif permanent "A" - 54 UAH environ, conception : N. Titov, tirage : 80000) consacré au 250ème anniversaire de l'indépendance des États-Unis d'Amérique.
Ce timbre, imprimé en feuillet de 4 timbres, a été utilisé sur l'enveloppe associée ci-dessus (date d'émission : 16 avril 2026, tirage : 15000), avec TAD illustré mis en circulation par la poste ukrainienne à l'occasion de sa participation à l'exposition philatélique "Boston 2026" du 23 au 30 mai 2026. Ce TAD, avec mention "Un esprit de liberté", met en perspective la célèbre Statue de la Liberté à New-York à droite et la statue "Mère Ukraine" à gauche, statue colossale (102 mètres de haut) érigée à Kyïv en 1981.
Le flambeau de la Statue de la Liberté est représenté sur l'enveloppe à gauche, la main entremêlant les drapeaux ukrainien et américain. 
On May 26, 2026, the Ukrainian Post issued a stamp (permanent rate "A" – approx. 54 UAH; design: N. Titov; print run: 80,000) commemorating the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America.
This stamp, printed in a sheetlet of four, was used on the associated envelope above (issue date: April 16, 2026; print run: 15,000), with a special pictorial cancellation released by the Ukrainian Post to mark its participation at the "Boston 2026" philatelic exhibition (May 23–30, 2026). The special postmark, bearing the inscription "One Spirit of Freedom", juxtaposes the famous Statue of Liberty in New York (on the right) with the "Mother Ukraine" statue (on the left)—a colossal monument (102 meters tall) erected in Kyiv in 1981.
The Statue of Liberty's torch is depicted on the left side of the envelope, with a hand intertwining the Ukrainian and American flags. 

J'ai eu la chance de recevoir également le feuillet ci-dessus dans lequel ce timbre a été imprimé.
Ce timbre illustre la mention "FREEDOM" parée des couleurs des 2 drapeaux nationaux, avec le nombre "250" dans le fond. La marge supérieure représente 2 personnes s'étreignant, une étant de nationalité américaine et l'autre de nationalité ukrainienne.
Ce timbre constitue non seulement un hommage à l'histoire de l'État américain, mais aussi un symbole de solidarité entre les peuples ukrainien et américain (à ne pas confondre avec Trump...), unis par des valeurs communes de liberté, de démocratie et de dignité.

This stamp features the word "FREEDOM" in the colors of the two national flags, with the number "250" in the background. The top margin depicts two people embracing—one American and the other Ukrainian.
This stamp serves not only as a tribute to the history of the American state but also as a symbol of solidarity between the Ukrainian and American peoples (not to be confused with Trump...), united by shared values ​​of freedom, democracy, and dignity. 

   

Timbres EUROPA 2026 (70ème anniversaire des timbres EUROPA) sur FDC de Turquie 

L'année 2026 marque le 70ème anniversaire des timbres EUROPA, une initiative philatélique lancée pour renforcer les relations entre les pays européens et promouvoir une paix et une unité durables.
Émis pour la première fois en 1956 par six nations – la Belgique, la France, l'Allemagne, l'Italie, le Luxembourg et les Pays-Bas, membres fondateurs de l'Union européenne – ce programme s'est étendu progressivement à 53 organisations postales participantes.
L'an dernier, le groupe de travail Timbres et Philatélie de PostEurop a organisé un concours interne pour choisir un motif commun sur le thème "70ème anniversaire du timbre EUROPA : Unis par...".
Guidés par des valeurs partagées telles que la communication, l'innovation, la coopération et des racines communes, les membres ont soumis 15 propositions créatives, chacune présentant une vision unique. 
Suite au vote de 50 organisations postales, ce concours a été remporté par la poste finlandaise (Posti), devant la poste de Bosnie-Herzégovine (Sarajevo) et la poste luxembourgeoise.
C'est donc le projet de l'artiste et graphiste Klaus Welp qui figure sur les timbres EUROPA émis en 2026.

The design by artist and graphic designer Klaus Welp will therefore be featured on the EUROPA stamps issued in 2026. 

Le 9 mai 2026 (Journée de l'Europe), la poste turque Ptt a mis en circulation un timbre EUROPA unique reproduisant le dessin conçu par Klaus Welp.
Ce timbre (45 TRY, tirage : 100000) figure en 3 exemplaires sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus (avec TAD d'Ankara), envoyé le 16 juin 2026 depuis Istanbul. Merci beaucoup Tolga !
Ce timbre EUROPA allie éléments abstraits et symboliques. La ligne pointillée ascendante en diagonale représente à la fois la perforation du timbre et le travail progressif de PostEurop. A noter que la Turquie a émis ses premiers timbres EUROPA en 1958 (souche d'arbre) sans toutefois reproduire le dessin commun choisi cette année-la, une colombe volant au-dessus du "E" d'Europe (par le néerlandais André Van der Vossen) pour illustrer le thème "La paix au service des idées européennes".

This EUROPA stamp combines abstract and symbolic elements. The diagonally ascending dotted line represents both the perforation of a stamp and the progressive work of the PostEurop. The seven dots, connected by a straight line, symbolize seventy years of unified effort by postal operators across the continent.
The blending gradients and dotted patterns in the background form a cohesive and vibrant surface, reflecting the joyful mix of colours from the European flag and symbolizing the unity of all member nations.
It is worth noting that Türkiye issued its first EUROPA stamps in 1958 (featuring a tree stump) but did not reproduce the common design selected that year—a dove flying over the letter "E" of Europe (by the Dutch artist André Van der Vossen)—which was intended to illustrate the theme "Peace in the Service of European Ideas". 

   

TAD "120 ans de la parution du journal «Basarabia»" sur carte pré-timbrée de Moldavie 

"Basarabia" a été le premier journal imprimé en langue roumaine, paru du 26 mai 1906 au 11 mars 1907. 79 numéros furent imprimés.
Caractérisé par un radicalisme agraire et nationaliste, le journal fut interdit par les autorités provinciales. De jeunes intellectuels bessarabiens, tels que Pan Halippa, Mihai Vântul, Alexei Mateevici et d'autres, se rassemblèrent autour de la publication. Le rédacteur en chef était l'avocat Emanuel Gavriliță.
Le journal paraissait en roumain, en caractères cyrilliques, mais le nom "Basarabia" était écrit en caractères latins. Financé à la fois par la province (avec le soutien de Vasile Stroescu) et par la Roumanie, notamment grâce aux efforts de Constantin Stere de Iași, le journal imposa les normes littéraires de la langue roumaine, s'efforçant de la revitaliser en Bessarabie.
Les autorités tsaristes persécutaient constamment le journal et sa rédaction ; il fut accusé de crimes à plusieurs reprises et traduit en justice seize fois. 
"Basarabia" was the first newspaper printed in Romanian language, published from May 26, 1906, to March 11, 1907. A total of 79 issues were printed.
Characterized by agrarian and nationalist radicalism, the newspaper was banned by provincial authorities. Young Bessarabian intellectuals—such as Pan Halippa, Mihai Vântul, Alexei Mateevici, and others—rallied around the publication. Its editor-in-chief was the lawyer Emanuel Gavriliță.
The newspaper was published in Romanian using the Cyrillic script, although the name "Basarabia" was written in Latin characters. Funded by both the province (with the support of Vasile Stroescu) and Romania—notably through the efforts of Constantin Stere from Iași—the newspaper established literary standards for the Romanian language and strove to revitalize it in Bessarabia.
Tsarist authorities constantly persecuted the newspaper and its editorial staff; it faced criminal charges on several occasions and was taken to court sixteen times.  

En 1906, le journal fut arrêté deux fois : le 2 juin, le numéro 5 fut confisqué, et le 11 octobre, le numéro 40. Il cessa de paraître le 11 mars 1907, après la publication, dans le numéro 78 du 4 mars 1907, de l'hymne "Réveillez-vous, Roumains"...
Le 26 mai 2026, la poste moldave a mis en circulation un intéressant TAD (conception : Mihail Riga) consacré au 120ème anniversaire de la parution de ce journal "Basarabia", symbole culturel d'émancipation de la Bessarabie à une époque où cette région faisait encore partie de l'Empire russe. 
Ce TAD a été appliqué par le bureau principal de Chișinău (MD-2012) sur la carte pré-timbrée ci-dessus. Merci beaucoup Nicolae ! 
Cette carte (1,30 MDL, tirage : 1000, conception : Lilian Iaţco) a été mise en circulation le 23 juin 2016 pour célébrer le 25ème anniversaire de l'émission des premiers timbres de la République de Moldavie.
In 1906, the newspaper was suppressed twice: issue No. 5 was confiscated on June 2, and issue No. 40 on October 11. It ceased publication on March 11, 1907, following the publication of the anthem "Awaken, Romanians" in issue No. 78 (dated March 4, 1907)...
On May 26, 2026, the Post of Moldova put into circulation an interesting special postmark (designed by Mihail Riga) commemorating the 120th anniversary of the launch of the "Basarabia" newspaper, a cultural symbol of Bessarabia's emancipation at a time when the region was still part of the Russian Empire.

Nicolae a utilisé 3 autres timbres sur l'autre côté de cette carte ci-dessus, pour atteindre le tarif en vigueur pour l'envoi d'une lettre de moins de 20g vers la France (12 MDL), avec en particulier un timbre (5,20 MDL), avec vignette attenante, faisant partie d'une série (3 timbres), émise le 6 mai 2026, consacrée à différentes espèces de pivoines (l'espèce "Bartzella" ici) du jardin botanique national (Institut) "Alexandru Ciubotaru" à Chișinău.
Le timbre en bas à gauche (3 MDL) fait partie d'une autre série (3 timbres) émise le 30 mai 2025, consacrée à la ferronnerie d'art, en particulier une des grilles ouvragées situées sous un porche d'entrée de l'église Sainte Théodora de Sihla à Chișinău ici. 
Le dernier timbre (2,50 MDL) fait partie d'une série (2 timbres) émise le 8 novembre 1994, consacrée à l'adhésion de la Moldavie au programme de Partenariat pour la paix de l'OTAN.
Nicolae used three additional stamps on the other side of this card above to meet the current rate for sending a letter weighing less than 20g to France (12 MDL). Notably, this includes a stamp (5.20 MDL) with an attached label, part of a three-stamp series issued on May 6, 2026, featuring various peony species (specifically the "Bartzella" variety here) from the "Alexandru Ciubotaru" National Botanical Garden (Institute) in Chișinău.
The stamp at the bottom left (3 MDL) belongs to another series (three stamps) issued on May 30, 2025, dedicated to artistic ironwork; specifically, it depicts one of the ornate grilles found under the entrance porch of the Saint Theodora of Sihla Church in Chișinău.
The final stamp (2.50 MDL) is part of a two-stamp series issued on November 8, 1994, commemorating Moldova's accession to NATO's Partnership for Peace program.

Timbre "100 ans de la naissance de la reine Élisabeth II" sur FDC d'Allemagne 

L'année 2026 marque le 100ème anniversaire de la naissance d'Élisabeth II, reine du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord et des autres royaumes du Commonwealth de1952 à sa mort en 2022.
De nombreuses administrations postales de pays ou territoires du Commonwealth (Australie, Gibraltar, Grande-Bretagne, Nouvelle-Zélande, îles Falkland, île de Man, Jersey...) ont émis des timbres sur ce thème cette année.
Plus surprenant, la Deutsche Post a aussi mis en circulation, le 2 avril 2026, un timbre consacré à la reine Élisabeth II.
Ce timbre (1,25€, conception : Thomas Steinacker), imprimé (partiellement avec une encre dorée) en feuillet de 10 timbres, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessous avec TAD Premier Jour (représentant un de ses célèbres chapeaux) de Berlin. Merci beaucoup Jens ! 
The year 2026 marks the centenary of the birth of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of the other Commonwealth realms from 1952 until her death in 2022.
Many postal administrations in Commonwealth countries and territories (Australia, Gibraltar, Great Britain, New Zealand, Falkland Islands, Isle of Man, Jersey, etc.) have issued stamps on this theme this year.
More surprisingly, the Deutsche Post also released a stamp dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II on April 2, 2026.
This stamp (€1.25, design by Thomas Steinacker), printed (partially with gold ink) in sheetlet of 10, was used on the cover below, with First Day postmark (depicting one of her famous hats) from Berlin. Many thanks, Jens!

Sa passion pour l'équitation et l'élevage de chevaux, ainsi que son goût pour les Welsh Corgis Pembroke et les tenues colorées assorties à leurs chapeaux (comme cette tenue jaune sur le timbre), étaient de notoriété publique. 
La photographie de la reine sur ce timbre a été prise en 2007 lors d'une visite au centre de vol spatial Goddard de la NASA aux États-Unis. 
Au cours de son règne, la reine Élisabeth II a effectué 5 visites d'état en Allemagne (en 1965, 1978, 1992, 2004 et 2015). Elle s'est également rendue en Allemagne en 1987, pour marquer le 750ème anniversaire de la fondation de Berlin, en 1990 et en 2000, pour assister à l'inauguration de la nouvelle ambassade britannique.

During her reign, Queen Elizabeth II made five state visits to Germany (in 1965, 1978, 1992, 2004, and 2015). She also visited Germany in 1987 to mark the 750th anniversary of Berlin's founding, and in 1990 and 2000 to attend the inauguration of the new British Embassy.
