Timbre "80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies" sur lettre de Serbie 

De nombreuses administrations postales (Wallis-et-Futuna, Tunisie, Slovénie, Saint-Marin, Kazakhstan, Moldavie, Nations Unies, Philippines, Namibie, Inde, Émirats Arabes Unis, Belarus, Maroc, Serbie, Monaco, Pérou, Slovaquie, Pakistan, Algérie...) ont émis des timbres en 2025 consacrés au 80ème anniversaire de la création des Nations Unies, reproduisant le logo officiel de cet anniversaire (pour certaines) et parfois son slogan associé, "Construisons notre avenir ensemble". 
Pour rappel, 51 pays ont fondé l'Organisation des Nations Unies en 1945 suite à la ratification de la Charte des Nations Unies à San Francisco le le 24 octobre 1945.
La Yougoslavie fut l'un de ces pays fondateurs et la Serbie est membre des Nations Unies depuis le 1er novembre 2000 lorsqu'elle faisait partie de la République fédérale de Yougoslavie, avec le Monténégro.
L'administration postale de Serbie a mis en circulation, le 24 octobre 2025, un timbre consacré à ce 80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies. 
Several postal administrations (Wallis & Futuna, Tunisia, Slovenia, San Marino, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the United Nations, the Philippines, Namibia, India, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Morocco, Serbia, Monaco, Peru, Slovakia, Pakistan, Algeria, etc.) issued stamps in 2025 commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
These stamps reproduced the official anniversary logo (for some) and sometimes its associated slogan, "Building our future together."
As a reminder, 51 countries founded the United Nations in 1945 following the ratification of the UN Charter in San Francisco on October 24, 1945.
Yugoslavia was one of these founding countries, and Serbia has been a member of the United Nations since November 1, 2000, when it was part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, along with Montenegro.
The Serbian postal administration put into circulation, on October 24, 2025, a stamp dedicated to this 80th anniversary of the United Nations.  

Ce timbre (120 RSD, tirage : 15000), conçu par Jakša Vlahović et imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 21 novembre 2025 depuis la ville de Novi Sad. Merci beaucoup Dusan ! 
Ce timbre représente le siège des Nations Unies à New-York (en particulier la tour de 39 étages, appelée le Palais de Verre, abritant l'ensemble des bureaux du Secrétariat des Nations Unies) et reproduit l'emblème des Nations Unies et le logo officiel de ce 80ème anniversaire. La construction principale de ce siège commença en 1947, et s'acheva en 1952. Il fut inauguré le 9 janvier 1951.
Aujourd'hui, l'ONU compte 193 états membres. Ses principaux organes sont l'Assemblée générale, le Conseil de sécurité, le Conseil économique et social, le Conseil de tutelle, la Cour internationale de Justice et le Secrétariat, dirigé par le Secrétaire général.
Dusan a utilisé un 2ème timbre (18 RSD, tirage : 1000000, conception : Boban Savić), émis le 1er avril 2023, faisant partie d'une série courante consacrée à une campagne du gouvernement sur la sécurité en ligne des enfants.

This stamp depicts the United Nations Headquarters in New York (specifically the 39-story tower, known as the Glass Palace, which houses all the offices of the United Nations Secretariat) and reproduces the United Nations emblem and the official logo for this 80th anniversary. Main construction of the headquarters began in 1947 and was completed in 1952. It was inaugurated on January 9, 1951.
Today, the UN has 193 member states. Its main organs are the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the Secretariat, headed by the Secretary-General. 
Dusan used a 2nd stamp (18 RSD, print run: 1,000,000, design: Boban Savić), issued on April 1, 2023, as part of a definitive series dedicated to a government campaign on children's online safety.  

   

Timbre commun "Journée de la Poste arabe 2025" sur lettre des Émirats Arabes Unis 

À l'occasion de la célébration de la Journée de la Poste arabe, qui coïncide avec le 3 août 2025, certaines administrations postales de pays arabes membres de la Ligue des États arabes ont mis en circulation un timbre commun illustrant le thème "Vers des services postaux plus innovants". 
Sauf erreur, 9 pays ont émis ce timbre : Algérie, Tunisie, Irak, Émirats Arabes Unis, Égypte, Libye, Soudan, Maroc et Oman.
La version émiratie de ce timbre commun (3 AED, imprimé en feuillet de 6 timbres), conçu par le designer irakien Assem Mohamed Kamel, a été utilisé à droite sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 20 octobre 2025 depuis Dubaï. Merci beaucoup Mohammed ! 
Ce timbre commun représente la vision arabe visant à construire un avenir postal fondé sur l'innovation et l'évolution numérique. Il a également pour objectif de mettre en lumière le rôle central et historique que joue le secteur postal dans le développement et le renforcement de la communication au sein des sociétés, tout en affirmant sa capacité à s'adapter aux transformations technologiques rapides dans le cadre de l'économie du savoir et de la transition numérique globale. 
To mark Arab Postal Day, which falls on August 3, 2025, some postal administrations of Arab member countries of the League of Arab States have issued a joint stamp illustrating the theme "Towards More Innovative Postal Services".
Unless I'm mistaken, nine countries issued this stamp: Algeria, Tunisia, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Morocco, and Oman.
The Emirati version of this joint stamp (3 AED, printed in sheetlet of 6 stamps), created by Iraqi designer Assem Mohamed Kamel, was used on the right on the cover below, sent on October 20, 2025, from Dubai. Thank you very much, Mohammed!
This joint stamp represents the Arab vision of building a postal future based on innovation and digital evolution. It also aims to highlight the central and historic role played by the postal sector in developing and strengthening communication within societies, while affirming its ability to adapt to rapid technological transformations within the framework of the knowledge economy and the global digital transition.  

Ce timbre comporte différents éléments symboliques.
Un bras humain tendu : symbolise les débuts du courrier manuel, représentant le parcours de l'homme arabe dans la construction de ponts de communication depuis l'Antiquité, à travers l'échange de lettres et de messages.
Un bras robotisé futuriste : illustre l'ère moderne et incarne la transformation numérique du secteur postal, notamment dans les domaines de l'automatisation, de l'intelligence artificielle et de la distribution intelligente.
Des enveloppes en mouvement : expriment l'essence même du service postal, évoquant la mémoire des lettres ayant porté, à travers les âges, la voix, la pensée et les émotions humaines.
Des dégradés de bleu et des lignes électroniques (figurant également sur le TAD ci-dessus) : suggèrent le monde de la technologie et de l'innovation, tout en évoquant la fiabilité et la précision des services postaux à l'ère numérique.
L'emblème de la Ligue des États arabes est enfin présent dans la partie supérieure. 
L'autre timbre ci-dessus (3 AED, en 2 exemplaires), imprimé en feuillet de 4 timbres, a été émis le 30 juillet 2025 pour commémorer le 20ème anniversaire de la création du Conseil suprême de la maternité et de l'enfance. Depuis sa création en 2003, ce Conseil constitue un cadre national complet pour la protection des droits des mères et des enfants et joue un rôle essentiel en les positionnant comme partenaires centraux du programme de développement durable des Émirats Arabes Unis.
Ce timbre (siège de cette institution à Abu Dhabi) rend hommage aux réalisations du Conseil, rendues possibles grâce à la vision exceptionnelle et au dévouement indéfectible de Son Altesse Cheikha Fatima bint Moubarak, "Mère de la Nation", Présidente de ce Conseil, de l'Union générale des femmes et de la Fondation pour le développement de la famille.
This stamp features various symbolic elements.
An outstretched human arm: symbolizes the beginnings of manual mail, representing the journey of Arab man in building communication bridges since antiquity, through the exchange of letters and messages.
A futuristic robotic arm: illustrates the modern era and embodies the digital transformation of the postal sector, particularly in the areas of automation, artificial intelligence, and smart delivery.
Moving envelopes: express the very essence of the postal service, evoking the memory of letters that have carried, through the ages, human voices, thoughts, and emotions.
Blue gradients and electronic lines (also featured on the postmark above): suggest the world of technology and innovation, while evoking the reliability and precision of postal services in the digital age.
The emblem of the League of Arab States is finally present in the upper part. 
The other stamp above (3 AED, in two copies), printed in a sheetlet of four, was issued on July 30, 2025, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood. Since its creation in 2003, the Council has provided a comprehensive national framework for protecting the rights of mothers and children and plays a vital role in positioning them as central partners in the UAE's sustainable development agenda.
This stamp (the Council's headquarters in Abu Dhabi) pays tribute to the Council's achievements, made possible by the exceptional vision and unwavering dedication of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, "Mother of the Nation," Chairperson of this Council, the General Women's Union, and the Family Development Foundation. 

   

Série "100 ans de la Fédération Internationale des Échecs" sur FDC du Kirghizstan (KEP) 

La Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) est une organisation internationale qui regroupe plus de 200 fédérations nationales d'échecs. Sa mission est de promouvoir les échecs, d'organiser des compétitions telles que les Tournois des Candidats, les Championnats du monde, les Olympiades d'échecs et d'autres tournois internationaux.
La FIDE décerne également des titres sportifs et calcule et publie les classements officiels des joueurs d'échecs du monde entier. En 1999, la FIDE a été reconnue par le Comité International Olympique (CIO) comme instance dirigeante internationale pour un sport non olympique.
La FIDE a été fondée le 20 juillet 1924 à Paris, lors des 8èmes jeux olympiques d'été. Pierre Vincent (1878-1956), secrétaire général de la Fédération française des échecs, a joué un rôle majeur dans sa création. 
Actuellement, les échecs figurent parmi les sports les plus populaires au monde. Selon la FIDE, des dizaines de millions de joueurs à travers le monde disputent en moyenne plus de 60 millions de parties d'échecs chaque jour.

Currently, chess is one of the most popular sports in the world. According to FIDE, tens of millions of players around the world play an average of over 60 million chess games every day. 

La Kyrgyz Express Post émet régulièrement des timbres consacrés aux Olympiades d'échecs et a dont logiquement commémoré le 100ème anniversaire de la création de la FIDE en mettant en circulation, le 27 juin 2025, une intéressante série (2 timbres) avec millésime "2024".
Ces 2 timbres (conception : Daria Maier, tirage : 7000 chacun) figurent sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus (tirage : 400) envoyé le 10 septembre 2025 depuis Bichkek, la capitale.
Le logo officiel de ce 100ème anniversaire (présent également sur le TAD) ainsi que l'emblème de la FIDE sont reproduits sur les 2 timbres.
L'illustration sur l'enveloppe montre une photographie de groupe des participants au tournoi d'échecs lors des jeux olympiques de de Paris (1924), qui a marqué la fondation de la Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE). 
The Kyrgyz Express Post regularly issues stamps dedicated to the Chess Olympiads and, logically, commemorated the 100th anniversary of the founding of FIDE by releasing, on June 27, 2025, an interesting series (2 stamps) with the year "2024".
These two stamps (designed by Daria Maier, print run: 7,000 each) are present on the official First Day Cover above (print run: 400), sent on September 10, 2025, from Bishkek, the capital.
The official logo for this 100th anniversary (also present on the postmark) as well as the FIDE emblem are reproduced on both stamps.
The illustration on the envelope shows a group photograph of the participants in the chess tournament at the 1924 Paris Olympic Games, which marked the founding of the International Chess Federation (FIDE). 

Ces 2 timbres ont été imprimés (en Moldavie par Nova Imprim) dans le joli bloc-feuillet ci-dessus (tirage : 1750) constitué de 4 paires tête-bêche et d'une marge centrale reproduisant la même photographie que sur le FDC.
Le premier timbre (150 KGS) montre les portraits de l'autrichien, naturalisé américain en 1888, Wilhelm Steinitz (1836-1900), premier champion du monde d'échecs (de 1886 à 1894), et de la tchécoslovaque Vera Menchik (1906-1944), première championne du monde d'échecs féminine en 1927.
Steinitz a été le premier joueur à étudier rigoureusement le jeu d'échecs pour en dégager les règles de stratégie. À ce titre, il est considéré comme le fondateur des échecs modernes.
L'autre timbre (300 KGS) met à l'honneur le joueur soviétique Mikhaïl Botvinnik (1911-1995) et le joueur américain Bobby Fischer (1943-2008), respectivement sixième et onzième champions du monde. 
Fischer devint, en 1972, champion du monde en remportant, sur fond de guerre froide, le "match du siècle" à Reykjavik face au joueur soviétique Boris Spassky. 
These two stamps have been printed (in Moldova by Nova Imprim) in the attractive souvenir sheet above (print run: 1,750), consisting of four tête-bêche pairs and a central margin reproducing the same photograph as on the FDC.
The first stamp (150 KGS) features the portraits of Wilhelm Steinitz (1836-1900), an Austrian who became a naturalized American citizen in 1888 and was the first World Chess Champion (1886-1894), and Vera Menchik (1906-1944), a Czechoslovakian and the first Women's World Chess Champion in 1927.
Steinitz was the first player to rigorously study chess game in order to derive its strategic rules. As such, he is considered the founder of modern chess.
The other stamp (300 KGS) honors Soviet player Mikhail Botvinnik (1911-1995) and American player Bobby Fischer (1943-2008), respectively the sixth and eleventh world champions.
Fischer became world champion in 1972 by winning the "Match of the Century" in Reykjavik against Soviet player Boris Spassky, in the Cold War context.

Ces 100 ans de la FIDE ont également été célébrés en 2024 sur des timbres émis par la Suisse, la Syrie ou la Bosnie-Herzégovine (Pošte Srpske).
As part of the stamp series, Kyrgyz Express Post also released the two attractive maxicards above (print run: 400 each), numbered MC-143 to MC-144. 
The one on the left shows Vera Menchik playing chess, under a portrait of Wilhelm Steinitz, the other card showing a game between Mikhail Botvinnik and Bobby Fischer during the 15th Chess Olympiad in 1962 in Varna, Bulgaria. 
This FIDE's 100th anniversary was also celebrated in 2024 on stamps issued by Switzerland, Syria or Bosnia & Herzegovina (Pošte Srpske).  

   

Courrier de Noël 2025 transporté par montgolfière d'Allemagne en Autriche 

Un grand merci Jens pour cette lettre très spéciale envoyée le 8 décembre 2025 depuis le village de Christkindl (A-4411) en Haute-Autriche !
Depuis 1950, la poste autrichienne ouvre chaque année un bureau de poste de Noël dans ce village de Christkindl ("Enfant-Jésus" en allemand) qui dispose, depuis 1965, d'oblitérations spéciales, valables cette année du 28 novembre au 31 décembre 2025.
Cette enveloppe a voyagé le 7 décembre 2025 à bord d'une montgolfière à l'occasion de la 64ème édition du "Weihnachts Ballonpost" ("Ballon monté de Noël"), entre Sonthofen (Bavière), la ville située le plus au sud de l'Allemagne, et ce village de Christkindl.
A noter en haut à gauche le cachet spécial appliqué à bord de cette montgolfière immatriculée D-OLPP (pilote : Stefan Dolpp), représentant l'église de pèlerinage de Christkindl.

Since 1950, the Austrian Post has opened a Christmas post office every year in this village of Christkindl ("Child Jesus" in German) which has, since 1965, some special postmarks valid this year from November 28 to December 31, 2025.
This envelope traveled on December 7, 2025 aboard a hot air balloon on the occasion of the 64th edition of the "Weihnachts Ballonpost" ("Christmas Balloon Post"), between Sonthofen (Bavaria), the southernmost town of Germany, and this village of Christkindl.
To note at the top left the special cachet applied on board this hot air balloon registered D-OLPP (pilot: Stefan Dolpp), featuring the pilgrimage church of Christkindl.  

Ce ballon a décollé de Sonthofen à 11h30 d'après le cachet rectangulaire vert appliqué en bas à gauche sur cette enveloppe, et a parcouru une distance de 12,7 km jusqu'à Kranzegg, à une altitude maximale de 1350 mètres.
A noter ce cachet noir évoquant cette 64ème édition "Weihnachts Ballonpost" avec ce ballon et Saint-Nicolas, et la mention "D'ici vers le monde entier" en allemand.
A noter aussi que cette opération postale, probablement l'une des plus anciennes campagnes caritatives philatéliques, permet de financer des dons pour le village d'enfants Pestalozzi à Wahlwies (nord-ouest du lac de Constance) et le village d'enfants SOS d'Ammersee-Lech.
Le TAD spécial de Christkindl (conception : Adolf Tuma) représente une scène de la Nativité, le timbre (1,20€, tirage : 1000000, conception : David Gruber), émis le 14 novembre 2025, étant l'un des 3 timbres de Noël émis cette année par la poste autrichienne. 
Ce timbre représente un vitrail gothique orné illustrant la Sainte Famille avec l'Enfant Jésus, situé dans l'église paroissiale et de pèlerinage Saint-Léonard de Bad St. Leonhard im Lavanttal, l'un des plus beaux édifices religieux gothiques de Carinthie.
Elle est réputée pour posséder la plus importante collection de vitraux gothiques de la province. Les quelque 140 précieux vitraux datant de la période 1340-1400 proviennent des ateliers Judenburg, célèbres pour leur savoir-faire, et représentent des scènes de la vie de Jésus et de saint Léonard. 
This hot balloon took off from Sonthofen at 11:30 a.m., according to the rectangular green inkmark in the lower left corner of the envelope, and traveled 12.7 km to Kranzegg, reaching a maximum altitude of 1350 meters.
To note the black cachet evoking this 64th edition of "Weihnachts Ballonpost", featuring the balloon and Saint Nicholas, and the inscription "From here to the whole world" in German.
Also note that this postal operation, probably one of the oldest philatelic charity campaigns, makes it possible to finance donations for the Pestalozzi children's village in Wahlwies (north-west of Lake Constance) and the SOS children's village in Ammersee-Lech.
The Christkindl special cancellation (design: Adolf Tuma) depicts a Nativity scene, the stamp (€1.20, print run: 1,000,000, design: David Gruber), issued on November 14, 2025, being one of three Christmas stamps issued this year by the Austrian Post. 
This stamp depicts an ornate Gothic stained glass window showing the Holy Family with the newborn baby Jesus, from the parish and pilgrimage church of St. Leonhard in Bad St. Leonhard im Lavanttal, one of the most beautiful Gothic religious buildings in Carinthia.
It is known for having the largest collection of Gothic stained glass windows in the province. The approximately 140 valuable glass paintings from the period between 1340 and 1400 originate from the Judenburg workshops, which were famous for their craftsmanship, and depict scenes from the lives of Jesus and St. Leonhard. 

   

Série "Journée mondiale de la poste 2025" sur FDCs de Malaisie 

Pour rappel, la Journée mondiale de la Poste ("Hari Pos Sedunia" en malaisien) est célébrée chaque année le 9 octobre (depuis 1969) afin de marquer la date anniversaire de la fondation de l'Union postale universelle (UPU) en 1874 à Berne.
D'après l'UPU, "l'objectif de cette journée est de sensibiliser les citoyens et les entreprises au rôle de la poste dans leur vie quotidienne et de sa contribution au développement socio-économique des pays".
Le thème de la Journée mondiale de la poste 2025 est "#PostForPeople : Service local. Portée mondiale", avec une campagne mettant en lumière la poste en tant que service public essentiel, ancré dans les communautés et porté par les personnes. Des villages ruraux aux centres urbains, cette campagne rend hommage à la poste pour les personnes.
As a reminder, the World Post Day ("Hari Pos Sedunia" in Malaysian) is celebrated every year on October 9th (since 1969) to mark the anniversary of the founding of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 in Bern.
According to the UPU, "the purpose of World Post Day is to create awareness of the role of the postal sector in people’s and businesses’ everyday lives and its contribution to the social and economic development of countries".
The theme for World Post Day 2025 is "#PostForPeople: Local Service. Global Reach", with a campaign highlighting the Post as a vital public service rooted in communities and driven by people. From rural villages to urban centres, this campaign honours the Post for People.

A l'occasion de la 56ème édition de cette Journée mondiale de la poste, la poste malaisienne a mis en circulation, le 9 octobre 2025, une intéressante série (1 timbre + 1 bloc-feuillet).
Le bloc-feuillet, composé de 2 timbres (2 RM et 3 RM), figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus avec TAD de Kuala Lumpur, la capitale. Merci beaucoup Khor !
Le logo officiel de l'UPU associé au slogan de la Journée mondiale de la poste 2025 ("Service local. Portée mondiale") figure dans la marge centrale et sur les 2 timbres, illustrant respectivement différents types de boîtes aux lettres utilisés dans le monde (Brésil, Suisse, Émirats Arabes Unis, USA, Chine) et la gestion du courrier, entre le dépôt dans une boîte aux lettres et le transport, par des facteurs en scooter ou fourgon postal.
Le fourgon postal Maxus eDeliver 3 (filiale du constructeur automobile chinois SAIC) fait partie de la flotte électrique de la poste malaisienne (la plus importante du pays avec 400 véhicules et près de 2500 deux-roues) qui a pour objectif d'atteindre la neutralité carbone d'ici 2030.
To mark the 56th World Post Day, the Malaysian Post released an interesting series (1 stamp + 1 souvenir sheet) on October 9, 2025.
The souvenir sheet, composed of two stamps (2 RM and 3 RM), is featured on the official FDC above with cancellations from Kuala Lumpur, the capital. Thank you very much, Khor!
The official UPU logo, along with the World Post Day 2025 slogan ("Local Service. Global Reach"), appears in the central margin and on both stamps. The stamps illustrate different types of mailboxes used around the world (Brazil, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, USA, China) and the mail handling process, from deposit in a mailbox to transport by postmen on scooters or postal vans.
The Maxus eDeliver 3 (a subsidiary of the Chinese car manufacturer SAIC) postal van is part of the Malaysian Post's electric fleet (the largest in the country with 400 vehicles and nearly 2500 two-wheelers) which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
