While I find that 95% of the LinkedIn groups are a waste of time, there is a 5% of those groups that is a goldmine! To better increase the chances of finding the 5%, you’ll need to learn how to start eliminating groups from consideration. It used to be that your positions on LinkedIn were automatically arranged based on recency – the more recent position would be listed first. This was a major issue for people who have more than one current position in their profiles. Fortunately LinkedIn has now made it so that YOU are the one that selects the order in which the positions appear.
