Today, we remember the attack committed on this date in 2001 against the United States in the United States.

We remember the victims, their hopes, their dreams, their lives cut far too short.

We remember their families, who have suffered unimaginable losses.

We remember the pilots and the flight crews, whose courage was unsurpassed.

We remember the emergency responders, whose heroism and sacrifice were unparalleled.

We remember our leadership, their grace under fire, and their determination to protect and defend us.

We remember the enemy, who they are, what they are, what they believe, and what their goal continues to be.

We remember that the attacks were acts of war.

We remember that the war is still with us, whether we like it or not.

Today, we remember.

We remember always
