Plain Prized Peony

I have a custom card order with a request for blank cards. These are always hard for me, as I feel they look unfinished. I'm getting better at imagining them, though! Here I used the Prized Peony stamp (leaves) and the Peony Dies for the centerpiece. I used the blending brush to add some color to the Basic White petals of the peony. The flower is adhered to the Golden Garden Specialty Acetate

 

Beautiful Birds

I love using scraps that are in a little box or basket around my work space. Here I combined them with a few snippets of beloved retired designer series paper. Those birdies create the centerpiece and are cropped out of the patterned piece using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. A sweet card to uplift and encourage someone I know.Thanks for looking today! Bouquet Quartet

Today's card was inspired by the colors in some wallpaper in an old movie. (I don't remember the name of it but I think it was an Elizabeth Taylor flick!) This card was the first in a series of four that I made after stamping and cutting all of the floral and greenery pieces laying on my work top. Birds & Branches You Are Loved

My sky background was made using a Blending Brush and ink pads. This is my first card with a new bundle that I received as a prize. I was so excited to have won and I couldn't wait to use the Birds and Branches stamp set and the coordinating Birds and More Dies. My sentiment is from the A Wish for Everything stamp set.
