Each week Alison and I come up with a card to CASE and share it with you. This week I choose the card on page 93 of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  All products used to make my card are from Stampin' Up!

While the layout is the same and the colors similar I choose the Cool Treats stamp set to create my CASE card.  My Polka Dots Basic Embossing Folder had not arrived yet when I made my card so I used the Seaside Embossing Folder.

These ice cream treats almost look good enough to eat.   As a child when I went to visit my friend who lived in town in the early 60's the ice cream truck would ring its bell as it came down the street.  We would run out with a dime in our hands to buy a treat,  I loved the creamsicles.  I always thought it was so magical.

I only lived a mile from downtown but it was considered the country so no ice cream trucks came by.   They maybe should have because we had lots of kids on our road.  So many wonderful memories of growing up playing moon light star light, Anti-I-over and baseball.

Color Your World International Blog Hop Daisy Delight Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

All products used to make this card are from Stampin' Up!

Here is how I made this card...

  1. First the cardbase is a 4 1/4" x 11" Pool Party Cardstock
  2. The Lemon Lime Twist patterned paper is from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack.
  3. I then stamped three Lemon Lime Twist stems on a piece of 3" x 4 1/4" Whisper White cardstock.
  4. I then stamped in Tuxedo Black INk Thank You about 3/4" from the bottom.
  5. Then I mounted the Whisper White cardstock to a piece of 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" Pool Party cardstock and adhered it to the center of the card front with dimensionals.
  6. I stamped the large daisy from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Melon Mambo.
  7. I then ink up the tree leaves from Sheltering Tree stamp set in Melon Mambo and then stamped it on a piece of scratch paper and then stamped it over the daisy.
  8. I cut the daisy in half and attached one on top of the other to create like a half daisy.
  9. I repeated the daisy stamping in Bermuda Bay and Powder Pink.
  10. I attached the Melon Mambo daisy to the left stamp and the Powder Pink to the right hand stem with glue dots.
  11. I attached the Bermuda Bay daisy with a dimensional to the center stem.
  12. I punched out three 1/2" circles in Basic Black cardstock and attached each to the center of each daisy with a glue dot.

It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here! Today's card features the Naturally Eclectic Suite of products.  Patsy and I are featuring this suite in our July Free Card Program.

I love Lemon Lime Twist matched with Berry Burst so much that I used them on today's card.  These colours just pop when paired together!  I started by stamping the open flower image randomly on the Berry Burst cardstock in Berry Burst ink - I stamped off the first inking on a scrap to get a lighter tone on tone.

The patterned paper is from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack which includes 40 sheets, 4 each of 2 double-side designs in the five NEW 2017-2019 In Colors in a 12" x 12" pack.

The outline image is stamped in Berry Burst and then the solid image is stamped over top in Lemon Lime Twist.  The little Clear Faceted Gem adds a little bling to the flower.  Stamp the sentiment on scrap of Whisper White and punch out with the 1" circle punch, fold in half and wrap around the back of the focal image square.

Just tie the Lemon Lime Twist 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon in a lose knot and secure to the back.

Sunday Sketches SS043 - Cool Treats stamp set by Stampin' Up!

It's Sunday and time for another card sketch or as some people might say template.

Sunday Sketches Series SS043 Cool Treats Stamp SEt by Stampin' Up! www.stampstodiefor-horz
Each week I create a card sketch and then stamp a card using the sketch.  Today's sketch is a clean and simple card sketch.

Cool Treats by Stampin' Up! www.stampstodiefor.com

I choose the Cool Treats stamp set for today's card.  It seemed like the perfect stamp set for a warm summer day.  In Minnesota summers are often too short!!!  So no time to waste stamping up some cards with this fun stamp set and coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits.

One of my grandchildren's favorite things about staying overnight is Ice Cream for breakfast.  After all it is a diary product right?  They love to add sprinkles and I have a cupboard full of colors and shapes.

The sprinkles on this ice cream cone are so tiny and a bit of a challenge but I love the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets on page 203 of the catalog.  These make tiny items a breeze to adhere to your project.

Stampin up multi purpose adhesvie sheets

Simply cut your cardstock in the desired size and cut the multipurpose sheet the same size.  Peel one side of the adhesive sheet off and place your cardstock on it.  Then run it through the big shot like normal with your die.  Then just peel the sprinkles as they will be self adhesive and adhere to the ice cream cone.

The cardbase is Pool Party and the ovals are Whisper White (3 1/4" tall oval) and Flirty Flamingo (3 1/2" scallop oval) ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Below is a supply list with the Stampin' Up! Products I used to make this card.
