For today’s share, I’m showing how to create a soft watercolor background to achieve a beautiful sunrise scenery. The stamp set I used for the trees is Peaceful Pier. You could also use sets like Mountain Air (if you still have it) or Lovely as a Tree—any tree silhouette works well to set the scene and tie everything together.

A key tip for watercolor backgrounds is to prime your paper.

Today, I’m sharing how to create a simple scenery card that I call Moonrise. This peaceful scene comes together quickly and is perfect when you want a beautiful card without a lot of complicated steps.

For the scenery, I used the Peaceful Pier stamp set. It’s a wonderful set for creating calm outdoor scenes like this one. The greeting is from the new Prayers & Promises stamp set.
