Today I’m sharing two greeting cards perfect for summertime! Also, make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to learn about the new product release.

The first card features the U.S. flag that would be perfect for July 4th and uses a fun flip-card design. I also used the new Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder, which is part of today’s July Online Exclusive release. I understand the folder was just released today to late to get it to create a card for the 4th, but some demos have it on hand, and/or I bet you have another folder you would use, like a polka dot would be cute.

Today’s project features a fun Pull-Out Window Card! I’ll show you how to create the interactive pull-out version, plus a simpler version with just the window if you prefer an easier design.

Both cards have the look of a beautifully wrapped gift, making them perfect for birthdays, Christmas, or just about any special occasion. The interactive pull-out feature adds a fun surprise as the hidden message is revealed when you pull the insert.

Grand Stair Step Card – A Fun Way to Showcase Designer Series Paper

For today’s project, I’m sharing how to create a Grand Stair Step Card. I call it the “grand stair” style because the steps are much deeper than a traditional step card, giving the card more dimension and allowing your focal points to really stand out.

Need a card at the last minute? Come check out those mixed embossing cards. Some I did embossed, stamped, cut, and assembled; others are just embossed strips. So, with any type of embossing folder, this technique can be done, and anytime you get an embossed layer on top of the card, it really gives that texture and a wow effect.
These are very simple. Also, I stay in the neutral tone in the grays, white, and vanilla.
