For today’s post, I’m sharing four cards using the gorgeous Spooktacular Designer Series Paper, the new 6″ x 6″ pack just released in July 2026. The pack gives you 48 sheets — 12 sheets each of 4 designs — so I made one card with each design.

The whole point of these cards is to let the Designer Series Paper (DSP) be the star: instead of just using it as an accent, the DSP is part of the card base, and the fold is built so you actually get to see both sides of the paper.

For today’s blog post, I’m sharing how to create a beautiful Two Beautiful Backgrounds Ombre Technique.

The ombre resist technique uses Irresistible Designs Specialty Paper. This designer paper has an embossed pattern that looks plain at first, but once you add ink, the hidden design magically appears. It’s always such a fun transformation to watch!
