Stampin’ Up! has a new Premium Stamping Spot, and I have to say, I really like the new size. The spot measures approximately 1 7/8″ x 1 3/8″ x 11/16″ and has a felt pad.

These new Premium Stamping Spots will be included in kits beginning in September.

How to Make Your Own Stamp from a Die

Did you know you can turn your favorite dies into stamps? It’s quick, it’s cheap, and you probably already have everything you need. Today I’m showing you how I do it, and I’ve got a beautiful card to share at the end made with my homemade stamp!

What You’ll Need

• A sheet of fun foam (you can find it at most craft stores, and even at big box stores)
• A die (today I’m using the Skinny Tree from the Winter Adventure collection)
• Your die-cutting machine and plates
• A clear acrylic block

Making the Stamp

Build your sandwich in this order:

1. Platform #1
2. Platform #2
3. Clear plate #3
4. Your piece of fun foam
5. Your die, cutting side facing down
6. Another clear plate #3

Roll it through your cut-and-emboss machine and voilà!
