Tutorial: Flower Jar Card

  Jar of Flowers Card

Today's tutorial uses the Jar of Love stamp set found in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog and the masking technique.  The flower is actually stamped 3 times and then cut out and adhered to the jar to give a dimensional look.  While the flower comes from the You've Got This retired stamp set, there are many beautiful flower stamp sets in the new catalog that would work for this card.

Be sure to visit my Stampin' Up! Online Store to order any of the items used to make this card.

Baby ABC Blocks Card

Baby Card

One of my nieces is expecting her first baby and is having a baby shower this weekend.  Here is the card I made her to go with the gift my daughters and I are giving her.  It uses the Stitched Shapes Frameleits and the Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder, along with the Large Letters Framelits Dies.  The little Teddy Bear comes from a retired set.

Tutorial: Rose Sympathy Card

Rose Sympathy Card

Today's featured card is a beautiful sympathy card.  Sadly it seems I am sending more of these cards lately than birthday cards.  Today I attended the funeral of my cousin's husband who died unexpectedly over the weekend.  Yesterday I found out that the husband of one of my customers had passed away after an illness.  It seems I need to keep sympathy cards on hand.

Here is one of the sympathy cards I sent out.  It does use the recently retired Rose Wonder stamp set and the retired Rose Garden Thinlits Dies.

NSTRUCTIONS

3. Carefully cut around the rose on the right side of the card

  Dinasaur Card

I wanted to share a really fun kid's card with you even though (sadly) the stamp set No Bones About It used to make this card recently retired.  But I know many of you may have this set in your craft rooms and I thought it was just too darling not to share!
