This is not a freezer cooking meal plan like my previous 20 Meals for $150 plans. It’s more of a ‘batch cooking plan,’ which outlines how you can prepare and freeze all the meals in the plan over a 5 day period. This is way less overwhelming than spending 2-3 hours in the kitchen preparing all the meals. I know for some it helps to spread out the prep work over a few days, while you’re making dinner anyways. I’ll show you exactly how to get everything cooked, prepped so that nothing goes to waste!

In addition the shopping list and recipes, I’ll also send you an outline with cooking prep instructions so you can make the most of all the meals.

Making some meat or chicken with a sauce in the slow cooker can make for a wonderful meal especially in summer to keep the heat down in the kitchen. But cooking the rice or pasta “on the side” is not always necessary. With many recipes, you can add the rice or pasta right in and let it cook during the last bit of cooking. Check out my Slow Cooker Tips: When to Add Rice and Pasta and I’ll give you the scoop on when you should add the rice or pasta to save you an extra step in cooking dinner this summer.

Here is a drool-worthy meal and it’s freezer-friendly Recipe: Grilled Pomegranate Chicken 4 boneless chicken breasts 1/2 cup pomegranate juice 2 Tbsp honey 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground cumin Salt and pepper Finely chop the fresh basil and parsley. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pomegranate juice, honey, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, ground ginger, and cumin. Whisk well to create a vinaigrette marinade. Place the chicken into baking dish or plastic baggie and pour the marinade over the top. Cover with plastic wrap or seal, and marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight. Heat the grill and add the chicken breasts over the direct heat. Brush with the marinade and discard remaining marinade. Let cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, then move over indirect heat and grill until cooked through. Slice before serving.
