Part 1 of Creating with the Picture This Dies

I was  intrigued when I saw the Picture This Dies in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. They were unique and my creativity started kicking in. I decided to use the circle shapes first.

I love that these dies have double stitching; one on the outside of the shape and one on the die-cut shape. Stitching is the perfect accent on papercrafting projects.

I decided to pair the Picture This Dies with the Color & Contour Stamp Set. Silly me. I didn't think I "needed" this set. Wrong!

It is hard to resist any floral stamp set, but I when I also like all the sentiments in a floral set, it almost always ends up in my online shopping cart.

Of course, I had to use the 2021-2023 In Colors for these cards. It is so easy to create when everything matches, including the ink pads, the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, the Open Weave Ribbon and the Jewels. I tried to make each card unique.

Directions:

Card Base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4".

First Layer:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2" 2021-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. Place the circle Picture This Die on the DSP and put through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Save the circle cutouts. Lay the DSP on the Card Base. I use a pencil to make a dot in the middle of the circle before stamping the images. Ink up whatever images you want to use and stamp them. Let the ink dry and then erase the dot. Attach the First Layer to the Card Base with Stampin' Seal Adhesive. Use Glue Dots to attach the ribbon and then add the Jewels.
