Desde que eu cheguei eu tenho me sentido feliz e triste, depende muito sabe? e a maioria das pessoas acha que intercambio eh uma festa, uma beleza... mas se engana quem acha isso. imagine agora esse cenario... 17 anos, deixar sua familia e amigos pra tras, deixar sua VIDA pra tras e ir pra uma lugar TOTALMENTE diferente comecar uma nova vida e saber que voce ficara 10 meses vivendo sem a sua familia :O eh, eu sei... eh mt dificil :/

Styles above the world
In my community there are a lot of different people , with different thoughts and different styles , but some styles are a little more popular.
One of the bests is called EMO they usually are usually really sensitive , they like to wear black clothes and listen do Simple Plan , Fresno and Hateen . Most of people , are really rude with EMO’s because they think that most of the EMO’s community are gays/lesbians.
Another style , is casual . Casual people are usually calm , have a lot of friends , like to go to the club , to restaurants , to malls . They wear Toulon , Colcci and Brooksfield . Casula style is the most popular in the world because everybody can be a casual person.
People who likes Hip Hop are really cool . They use to wear Dolce Gabanna , Gucci , Diesel , and love to listen to 50 cent , Eminem , Bow Wow , Akon and G-unit . They are really friendly , and they show theirs opinions by writing lyrics.
In conclusion we can say that if we were all identical , we would be bored , because we wouldn’t have differences to talk about.

Who Do You Want To Be?
That's the most common question that teens talk about these days. It's necessary that we discover ourselves at the youngest age because that will certainly say what we will become in the near future. It's a long way to truly know who you are and who you want to be. Nearly none of us are prepared to walk that path all alone, so we usually ask for help.
The age, clothing, music and culture are decisive matters to determine what kind of person you will be and what kind of tribe you will adept. All Countries have ways of expressing their culture, and so their citizens. Teens ate the age of 12 begun to join groups that have that goal. The most common ones here in Brasilia are trendy, goths, emos and geeks.
The first group likes to be always fashionable and prepared to whatever may happen: storm, sun and especially parties. They like designed and expensive clothes, fancy cars, boyfriends/girlfriends, they usually are the most famous at school, and have a lot of difficulties because since their parent are absent and have a lot of money to afford them in the future they don’t seem to care a lot with school.
The second one is usually mistaken with the third. Goths are people who love to wear black clothes and dark make-up. Usually don’t care what people will think about them because they usually have strong personality, and don’t need outsider’s influence. They are very calm, intelligent, like heavy metal music and melodic ones and they usually smoke in the backyard of school in groups.
Emos are the new and most incomprehensible tribe. They don’t know what they want for life and always think that they are misunderstood. They are always sad or depressed, crying with their friends or extremely happy in other moments. They use bangs, dark make-up too but usually with a drop drawn on their cheeks and striped clothes to complete the visual.
Geeks are the one who wear glasses, are addicted with everything related to computer and have weird ways of walking, talking and sitting because mostly of them are very shy. Unfortunately some of them are bullied at school from trendies because of their shyness and right way of doing things.
No matter who you are or what kind of group you belong. It’s important to know that we have to respect each other because we are a society. We work in groups. Without respect, we have no chance of conquering our place in the world, at school and even at your workplace.

Most common teens' styles
Teenagers are always trying to find their identity, because of this they usually choose a style or a tribe to join. The most common teens' styles are skater, trendy and emo.
Skaters wear unusual clothes: baggy pants and enormous t-shirts. In addition, they can not live without their caps. They are outgoing and they use a lot of slang while speaking. The kind of music they listen to is hip-hop.
Emo is a new tribe, which became more popular during this year. However, many teenagers do not like them. Emo people wear striped clothes, black eye-liner and big bangs. Their music is called emocore, an abreviation for emotional hardcore.
Finally, trendy is the most popular tribe in my city. They wear fashionable and expensive clothes, which they buy at stores like Zara and Colcci. They are usually girls, so they wear make-up everyday and everywhere. Moreover, many trendy girls are stuck-up.
To conclude, it is important to remember that there are many styles, but all teenagers live the same problems and happy moments.

Styles in Brazil
Anywhere in the world there are people with all the styles. Those styles develop when many teens join together, start to grow up, and start to admire the same things and to listen to the same music. In Brazil there are many styles. Anywhere that you go, you find so many different people.
One of the most popular groups is the skater group. They are easily recognizable. They wear baggy pants and caps, they listen to rap and their way of talking is very typical, with so much slang which only skaters know.
An other unmistakable group is the emo group. They wear eye-liner (men and the women). They always wear big and straight bangs covering the eyes and they listen to a kind of music called emocore.
The trendy group is a more common group. You can find them anywhere you go. People of this group always wear the most fashionable clothes and many make-up. They usually listen to pop music.
There are many other groups usually found here. They normally don’t mix with each other. Each one with their kind of party and their opinions, which are very different. Sometimes those differences bring fights when the groups find each other. Some of them don't accept other groups in the same place they are.

In first place we have the Geeks. This is a very common tribe. They are very intelligent but shy.They don’t like sports, so they have a long time to be in front of a computer. Their clothes are basically a pair of jeans, a T-shirt and sometimes glasses. They often meet at the internet at online computer games and chat rooms.
The second group are the Punks. They are a very detached group in community. They use make-up on the face, their hair style and their piercing are very different, that provokes fear and suspicion to other people. They are considerated a very radical and aggressive tribe, because of that, they have been on news for aggression and violence.
The next one ate the Skin Head who doesn’t stay back. The teens in this group are completely bowl and have a lot of tattoos on their body. They hate negros, gays, Jewish and Brazilian northeast people. Their attitudes are based in Adolf Hitler’s convictions. Their principal enemies are the Punks.
Analyzing these groups so different we observe that all of them have something in common, they want to be accepts with their distinctions. Unfortunately this doesn’t make one tribe better than others.

| In the old days many people didn´t realized the transition that children had and already treat them llike adults, that is the cause that be necessary one concept tat represents this transition, like this appeared the word "adolescent" which represents all this unsettle of them concept. Nowadays this teenagers came questioning about many subjects like relatioship, friends, parties but, in te first, about what they would do in the world. Like this many of them organized in groups or tribes that represents them personality, some examples of them are trendies, emos and gothics. Trendies are people who like eletronic music, frequent parties where the music is a beat which swing besides slow and accelerate, they wear fashion clothes, high heel sandals, big sunglasses, a lot of bracelets and they always make-up themselves before hang ou with friends. They usually frequent psycodelic places. Emos are hard emotional people, they blame everyone saying that everybody is complicated, they wear bangs, tight jeans, striped shirts, drawed blouses and they are always with them eye painted. They usually found at places that music is emotional hardcore. Gothics dress black clothes and usually wear crucifix necklace. They are obscure people, they frequent rock parties where the sound is heavy. Gothics usually frequent cemetery to gather with their friends. At finaly, teenagers are separeted in tribes that is the way that we can´t generalize all of them supposing they already adults. We must respect all tribes and they have to do the same. |

Nowadays Goths are mistaken with Emos because they wear black, even knowing that Goths appeared exist much before Emos. Skaters are a little eclectic, they like rock and some black music. They wear baggy clothes and really like caps. They are usually with a couple of friends practicing skateboard in parks or something like that. All the styles have their good points, and they’re cool in their way. However there’s still a little fight or disrespect in all tribes to others, it would be much better if everyone respected each other and lived in harmony.

Egypt
My dream vacation
Egypt
In my dream vacation I would go to Egypt witch is a republic, the official language there is Arabic, and the independence of Egypt was at 28 February 1922. I would travel there because Egypt has lots of things to do, for example: I would visit the pyramids; I would see the pharaoh and ride a camel. If I could choose the time of the year, I would choose the winter because Egypt would be less hot than the summer.
I would travel by plane, of course, because planes are the fastest way of transportation, but I think it would be more expensive than ship and car. If I had the chance to take someone with me, I would take my grandmother and my mother because both love Egypt and they are fascinated visiting it.
I know that Egypt is hot all year, so I would take: ten white t-shirts, eight shorts, one flips flops and one hat. As soon as I got there I would rent three camels to me and my family, then we would go with a guide to the tourist’s sites and go to the city to rent one place for to us stay and meet the Egyptian people.

The Six Flags
If I could visit any place in the world, it would certainly be the six flags. It is a (chain of) park with the scariest roller coasters in the world! It's amazing!! I think it's in New York. I would go there in July or December because that's when my boyfriend and I have time to spend.
I actually don't know how to get there, I guess we would have to take a flight to São Paulo, then another flight to New York and then go by car with the help of a map (and getting lost about every 5 minutes). I would bring Paulinho, my boyfriend, with me because we both have a high sense of adventure, we would probably stop at some place to do radical sports if we could or to take pictures of the places we were at and get to know something about their history.
I like to bring everything with me when I'm traveling everywhere far from home, you never know when you'll need to use them. But since we would not stay at only one place, I guess I would not bring big luggage, just some make-up, a few skirts, underwear, t-shirts, a light dress to wear when it's too hot and some groceries to eat during the trip.
The first thing I would do is going to The Kingda Ka. It's simply the tallest, fastest roller coaster on earth. It breaks all world records for coaster speed and height, zooming from 0 to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds and catapulting you 45 stories into the sky!! I love adrenaline! I would spend my morning and afternoon there and in the evenings I would go to Times Square, South Street Seaport, Liberty Island, It would be the best trip of my life if I had a chance to go there.

If I could have the vacation of my dreams anywhere in the world, I would travel to England.I would choose this place because I really like the England culture and the place is very beautiful, and there are many soccer players and I want to be a soccer player and there is good place to start my career. I would travel in the winter because I live in a tropical country so I prefer the winter to change some times.
To get there, I would have to travel by plane because it is on the other side of the world. I would take my family with me because I can’t live without my family and I would take my best friends too, for don’t lonely when I get there.
I would take clothes for the winter and to play soccer. As soon as I got there, I would take a walk in the city to know more the place.
In the mornings I would walk around the city, in the afternoon I would play soccer and in the evenings I would go to the parties in the famous clubs in London and I really wouldn’t stay at home because in that city are many kinds of fun.

Australia
If I could have the vacation of my dreams in some place in the world, I think I would travel to Australia. I would choose this country because my father said to me that he loved when he went there. He visited it and told me that Australia is a very polite country and all people are friendly and happy. He want to live there for 3 months but my mother don't want to move.
I would go there in the end of the year because is when school is over. To get there, I would travel by plane with my father, my sister and some friends, We are going to stay in Sydney because is the biggest city of Australia. I think I would like it. Will be the first vacation with my friends in a special place.
I have heard that Sydney is a good and famous city to visit because we have so many thinks to do and wonderful places to go. By the side of the bay we can find a beautiful and modern Sydney Opera House and we can go to the beaches. I also saw in the discovery channel photos about the beaches os Australia. Tahiti
If I could have the vacation of my dreams anywhere in the world, I think I would travel to some island at pacific like Tahiti. I would choose this place because it is a paradisiacal place with beautiful beaches and a lot of sun. I would travel on summer because it would be better to enjoy it.
To get there, I think I would travel by plane because it's farway from Brazil. I would take my best friends with me and my family too because in a beautiful place like this you have to enjoy with the people that you like.
I have heard that Tahiti is hot for all year so I would take just t-shirts, skirts, dresses and bikinis. The water there is transparent just like in Fernando de Noranha. See the sunset in pacific, because it’ s very beautiful and in Brazil it’s impossible because here the coast is bathed by altantic ocean.
As soon as I get there I would talk to the people who live there.During the morning I would go to the beach and enjoy the exotic nature and wait for the sunset, I would invite my friends to make a luau, and I would drink exotic cocktails. It would be perfect.

I would choose this place because I have many friends that have been there and they told me they Ioved it. And there are many people in my family that have been there too. I would go there in December or January, because it is when school is out and I have been informaded that on this part of the year there is very cold, and I like it.
To get there, I woud have to travel by plan. This travel would be great because I would take my best friend Gabriela with me. She, as me, loves go shopping, and there are many. And there, the things aren’t expensive as in Brazil. And she loves amusement parks too.
I would take cold clothes, some jackets, some pants, some blouses and a pair of sneakers. I wouldn’t take too much clothes because I would buy a lot there. As soon as I got there, I would know the hotel and the city I would stay. They say there are exelents hotels there.
The places I would go to would be the shopping mall. I love go shopping and buy many things. I would do this in the morning because it might be Iess people at the mall this time. I would spend the afternoon going to the famous amusement parks of there and having fun. At night, I would go dinner out of the hotel. It would be a nice vacation.

If I could have the vocation of my dreams anywhere in the world, I would travel to Caribbean, I really want to go to this place because there looks like one tropical and exotic place where has many clear beaches and there are a lot of differents drinks and foods, a lot of nice people, many parties and many things to see. I think there would be really fun. I would go there in the summer to take advantage of all beaches.
To get there, I think I would travel by ship because it would be more fun and benefit. This would be great because I would take my cousin Jéssica or my boyfriend César with me because they are the best presence to guarantee a great time at all places. I think they would love to travel to another country with me.
I imagine that there is really hot 50 I would take dresses, shorts, a lot of bikinis, skirts, sleeveless shirts, sandals and two pairs of paints. As soon as I go there, I would go for a swim and drink something. People say that there has a lot of exotic foods se I would go to a restaurant first. Then I would visit the local villages and find out about typical parties.

If I could choose anywhere in the world, I think the best place to spend my vacationwould be Ireland. In my opinion, cold places are better, because with thick closes, we can stand it, but when it's hot, you can't do anything to take the heat away. Ireland is a cold, but no too cold place. I've alredy seen beatiful landscapes in images of this country. I think I would travel in the winter, because, as I mentioned I prefer cold than hot.

If I could have the vacation of my dreams, I would go to New Zeland, because the Lord of the Ring was set there, the landscapes are very beuatiful and it is the "mother" of radical sports, the highest bungee jump is there. I would travel in the summer because I could do parachuting, bungee jump, scuba diving and rapel. If it is winter, the air would be so cold and I would not realize the radical sports.
To get there, I would travel by plane because it is the fastest way. I would take a corageous friend with me, because she would have to convince me to do the sports.

Disney
I dream to go to many places around the world, but one that I would certainly go is Disney. I’ve always dreamed of going there because of the parks and the magic of Disney world. If I could choose a time of year to go, it would be at the end of the year, like December, because at this time of year it's colder there, and I love cold places. Another reason is because I would like to spend New Year's there.
To get there I would go by plane, it’s one of the best ways to get there and I love flying. I would go with my family and some friends. I’ve always traveled with my family and I like it very much, it makes me more comfortable, and I would take some friends to make the fun bigger.

One place I would love to go is Antarctica. Antarctica is the south pole and it's the coldest place on Earth. I would like to go there because I had never seen snow and Antarctica is the best place to practice snow sports and I would love to see penguins and polar bears. New Zealand
A place that I'd love to go is New Zealand. There are so many places where we can play extreme sports. I really love this kind of sport. When I travel to radical places, I always practice so many differents sports. The best time of year to go there is at the end of it because at this time it's summer there.
My dream is to go there on a cruise because you can start enjoying your trip before getting there. I'd take my friends with me. We are really lively people. We always have some fun together.
One problem would be the clothes to take. I don't know what the people wear there, but I think I could take my regular clothes and I would buy some more as soon as I got there.

São Paulo
I have always dreamed about going to São Paulo, because trere are many hot spots to visit, like skate parks, water parks and historical sites. If I had the chance to go to São Paulo, I wouldn’t think twice. One nice season to go there would be the summer, because it is warm and you don’t have to worry about wearing warm clothes and you can also enjoy the water parks better.
It doesn’t matter how to get there, because I like traveling by car, seeing the enviroment and I like to travel by plane too, because it doesn’t spend so much time and it is possible to see many things too. I would go with my family, because everybody in my family would like to go there. And I would also ask my friend Alan to join us, because he likes skateboarding too and he would enjoy it a lot.
I would take my day–by-day clothes, because the weather in São Paulo looks like Brasília’s weather. However, I would take my swimming suits and my flip flops too, because I would like to visit the water parks. In this travel, I would first go around the hotel and discover what there is to do and after I would go inside the hotel, looking for attractions.
I would try to enjoy the city as much as I can, going to touristic attractions, as parks and historical sites. And I could also go to the hot spots for skateboarders, in the street or at the popular skate parks. However, I would spend some evenings at the hotel, playing snooker and table tennis with my friends. This could be so exciting. Mythbusters
Mythbusters is an interesting American TV program, where two unusual guys, named Jamie and Adam, make lots of unusual experiments. They test the popular myths in their labs, and sometimes outside them. In each episode, Jamie and Adam invent some different machines with their own notions o use some that are already done.
In the last episode I've seen, for example, they made lots of tests and experiments with guns and coins. One of the machines they had invented in this episodewas one that throws coins. Adam asked Jamie if he thought a coin could kill someone, with the impact. Jamie told im that he thought that was impossible. In the end I saw Jamie was right, it wasn't possible. The coin didn't have sufficient wieght for penetrating the human body, injurying one of our vital organs.
In general, I hate soap operas, but I like TV series and programs. I think this kind of program is very interesting and useful for our lives. Mythbusters is one of my favorites. For me, a bad or boring mythbusters episode doesn't exist. It's unusual, but nice.

The Simpsons
"The Simpsons" is a very popular program around the world.It's about one not very normal family. Homer is married with Marge and they have three children, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. "The Simpsons" is a cartoon that represent a kind funny the society.
In the last episode Homer was singing some songs at christmas but he was bored with the same songs ever so he said that he would create one song, so he did it. One week after he created the song, he got bored too because his song was playing everywhere. He decided to travel to anywhere that was peaceful, so he said to his family that they were going to travel on the following day. They travelled to a farm and everyone was tranquil there. Homer and Marge were relaxing together, Bart was riding horses and Lisa met a boy that she really liked. Homer and Bart helped the indians to repair them village. Lisa was unsuccessful with the boy that she was in love. Marge and Maggie relaxed all the time. In the end they back to their home relaxed
I think "The Simpsons" is the best Tv series that has ever exist. Is good to all ages, with a lot of fun at any time.
I think that their family are very happy even though they are crazy.

Kenan and Kell
When I was 6 years old I used to like “Kenan and Kell”. That TV program was very funny. My sister and I used to watch them after school time. All the episodes were really interesting and we found that they performed very well .We liked it when the program was going to start and Kell said:”aaaaah, let’s go!”
My favorite episode was when Kenan (the fat boy) and his best friend Kell
(The dummy gay) saw Chicago Bulls’ game in a Saturday morning on TV. They decided to eat breakfast together in Kenan’s house. So Kenan asked Kell to do the breakfast for him. When Kenan was eating the atum sandwich he choked and felt very bad. So they had an idea to process the atum supplier, but in the end Kenan found out that Kell had putted in the sandwich a metal screw without noticing it. That made me laughs a lot.
“Kenan and Kell” TV program had more characters like: Chris Potter (The boss of Kenan), Kyra Rockmore (Kenan’s sister who loves Kell), Roger Rockmore (Kenan’s father who hates Kell), Sheryl Rockmore (Kenan’s mother), Sharla (The girl who loves Kenan and works with him), Janet (the nerd of the school) and Briana (the girl who Kenan loves).
This TV program was finished when Kell died in the real life. It was terrible because I liked him very much , he was very cute. I didn’t saw the lest episode.
Now a days have other TV program who imitate “Kenan and Kell”. This TV program calls “Drake and Josh” it is not funny.

Lost
My favorite Tv series is Lost. It is about people that had had a plane accident and fell in a unknown and mysterious island. There are many characters, but who more appear are Jack, Sawyer, Katy, Locke and Hugo. Jack is a doctor and is like a leader. In the past, he had problems with his dad. Locke was paralyzed, and when he fell on the island, he could walk. Locke is the hunter and has problems about leadership with Jack. Hugo had had a simple life until he won the lottery. He believes the numbers that he used on lottery are cursed, and he saw the same numbers on island. Sawyer was a blower and is a cold man. He fight with everyone, but deep down, he just need atention, because he had a hardly childhood. Katy was a fugitive's law because she killed her stepfather. On island, she is the only one who is amazing with Sawyer and she feels something for Jack.
On last chapter I've watched, they found another group that was on the airplane too, and they started to live together. Hugo fell in love with a psychology that was in the other group. Jack and Locke had a prisoner: Locke believes that the prisoner was in island before them and wanna hurt them. Jack believes in the prisoner's version that his ballom felt there. Other three people went to look for the ballom to confirm the history. Sawyer played a dirty trick on Locke and Katy, and now he controls the guns.
I think Lost is the best one because we don't know the survivers' past and it is seemed along the serie, making us curious about the next chapter and about what are going to hapen on island. It is unpredictable!

The O.C
When I was younger I would sit every afternoon and night to watch my favourite soap opera. As I grew older, my taste for soap operas got much better because thesedays I prefer to watch more famous series that deals with teenager's feelings and problems, so I have chosen to talk about my favourite soap opera of all times: The OC.
The main characters are Ryan Atwood and Marisa Cooper, they are around our age: 16/17 years old. Ryan had serious problems with dealing with his family. Marisa is the most famous girl of her school and thought her family were perfect. They were not. Ryan went to live at Sandy's Cohen house in Orange County. There he met his son, Seth, whom he became friends and fell in love with Marisa.
The last episode I saw started with the sinopse of the previous ones.
Caleb Nichol died and everyone went to his funeral, meanwhile Kirsten, his older daughter, was having serious problems with drinking and went to a rehabilitation center. Ryan found out that his brother tried to abuse his girlfriend and went to deal it with him. Things got pretty ugly between them and Ryan was losing the fight. Trey was almost killing him when Marisa entered the house and shot him on his heart. He died.
The O.C is a very famous show because everyone wants to see whats is coming next: his fights with Marisa, the stupid things Seth used to do to date Summer, it was all very fascinating because this actually happens in "real life".
I was so addicted to it that I spent all my money buying season 1 and 2! I definetly love it.

My Wife and Kids
This TV series is about the life of a family. There's Michael Kyle, the family's father, who thinks that is never wrong. Jay Kyle (his wife) thinks that beauty is all. There are their children too: Junior (the oldest-17) isn't the most intelligent; Claire, the vain girl (14), and Kady (the youngest-7). They are a funny family that's always in troubles and make us very interested to see others episodes.

Michael told Jay to solve the problem. Jay told Junior that if he really wanted to stay in Hawai, he could, after all he was 17. Junior decided to come back and say bye to his girlfriend. When Michael were being attended on the reception, he saw the account and got very furios with the children, but he didn't have time to do anything because they had to go to the airport imediately. During the way, Jay said that although the confusion, their vacation was very good.
Television series are, in my opinion, a very good type of TV program that make us laugh and can, many times, teach us something. I think that they're better than soap operas, that show, many times, bad things.

My wife and kids
“My wife and kids” is a TV serie that Michael Kyle, an affectionate man, who is married with a pretty and prosperous woman, and he is father of three children. It seems to be a typical happy family, but not for Michael, who would like that all his family had a different behavior. He wanted his son, Junior, was an intelligent adolescent; his older daughter, Clair, still been a child and the youngest daughter followed everything that he says, instead of contesting and imposing her will. Michael thinks that his wife, Jay, would have to be the typical woman of house and zealous mother. They live in a typical house in the United States.
In the last episode Michael and Jay went to Clair's formation party , without she wants. Jay tried to enjoy this formation as if it was hers, because when her formation happened, she was giving birth to Junior. But without intention Michael and Jay started to ruin this so special day for Clair, who wanted to be alone with her friends. But in the end Jay and Michael said they were sorry to her.
I love TV series. I think they are really beter than soap operas and for me ''My wife and kids'' is one of the best TV series , because it’s funny, and talks about real facts of a family. And I loved the last episode, because it told about a similar story that happened in my life some months ago.

Margie told Homer to doesn't bought a gun but he didn't hears. So he went to a gunshop and said to the attendent he needed a gun but the attendent didn't sold the gun. Three days after Homer went to the gun shop again and the attendent finally sold a gun, one revolver. Then Homer shows the gun to everyone and entered in a secret organization of guns with his friends, but one day the friends went to his house and saw he doing all things with the revolver and they asked if he used the gun for anything, because this is prohibited. In the end Homer gaves the gun to Margie to take it away, but the she didn't because she told to Homer she had a lot of power with a gun.
In my opinion The Simpsons is a very good cartoon to watch and to have fun, because it makes everyone laugh and shows the reality for a funny way. If you have time, watch The Simpsons and a lot of TV programs who are similar to its. I love The Simpsons and a lot of cartoons which are very funny and its makes everyone happy. They are a good thing to pass the time and a good thing to watch with anybody.

Desperate Housewives
Desperate Housewives is a relatively new series. The fourth season is about to start in the United States. It´s about five women in their late thirties and early fourties who live in the same street, Wisteria Lane, and who have something in common: they lost a good friend, who committed suicide. In fact, all episodes are narrated by this dead character, Mary Alice. Gabrielle is an ex-model who married an apparently rich man who was later arrested for fraud in his business and whom she later divorced. Lynnette is a successful businesswoman who stopped working to take care of her kids but later switches roles with her husband Tom, who becomes a stay-home dad. Bree seems to be the perfect woman with the perfect life: a successful doctor as a husband, two nice teenage children and a beautiful house, which she takes care of meticulously; however, we later see that it´s all about appearances. Susan is a divorced mother who is looking for the love of her life; she´s probably the truest of the the five friends. Finally, Edie, who become friends with the other four only later, is a sexy, provocative woman in her fourties who will do anything to get a man. There´s a little bit of everything in Desperate Housewives – romance, drama, adventure and even horror.
In the last episode I watched, Gabrielle married the city mayor but got disappointed when she heard him telling his father that he had married her in order to obtain more votes from the Latin Americans. Her ex-husband, Carlos, found out that Edie, his girlfriend was lying to him when she said she was trying to have a baby with him. He saw her birth-control pills in her bag. During Gabrielle´s wedding reception, she found Carlos drinking and kissed him. Bree appeared after a long honeymoon in Europe and, to everyone´s surprise, she was pregnant. However, later, when she was already at home, she removed the fake belly she was wearing and called her daughter, Danielle, who is the one who is really pregnant, and told her to stay at the boarding school until the baby is due. Danielle said that she hated it there, but her mom didn´t care much. The end of the episode was dramatic: Edie hanged herself!
I like to watch Desperate Housewives because it´s a mixture of comedy and drama. I admit that sometimes it can get too violent and farfetched, but I have fun watching it anyway. In a way, I identify with the characters, who are around my age and have the same problems I do. TV series are more interesting to watch than soap operas because you can miss an episode and understand the following one easily, since each episode has a beginning, a middle, and an end.

The story is about the seven sins: pride, wrath, greed, envy, lust, sloth and gluttony. There are 3 main characters: Beatriz, Clarice and Dante. Beatriz is a very rich and powerful woman. She won a statue of her father that contains a secret. She is very silly, because of that, she needs help from an angel (Custodia). Beatriz also falls in love with Dante.Dante is an honest and kind man who works now for Beatriz. He is married with Clarice. His wife is a simple woman that has a very annoying mother.
In the last episode, Beatriz kissed Dante and Clarice fought with her in the street. After that, Clarice went home with Dante. The day after Dante said all the truth to Clarice, they engaged again. Chocolate com Pimenta was a very famous soap opera about an innocent girl, called Ana Francisca. She went to Ventura to live with her grandmother and started to love Danilo, the most popular boy in the city. They started to date, but Olga, a girl who loves Danilo, made Ana believes that he only wanted to humiliate her. Then, Ana married Ludovico, because she was pregnant. Ludovico was the owner of a a chocolate factory and when he died, Ana became the owner of this factory.
In the last episode, Ana discovered Olga's trick, because a boy, who used to be Olga's friend, said everything to Ana. Then, she went to Danilo's house to tell him why she had married Ludovico. Ana told Danilo she had a son with him before marry Ludovico. Danilo asked her why she hadn't told him before and Ana said she thought he didn't love her. Ana recouped her factory, which was stolen by her sister-in-law, Jezebel, who wanted to gain a lot of money with this factory. Finally, Ana Francisca and Danilo got married.

Drake & Josh
This funny TV series is about Drake Parker and Josh Nichols, two completely different brothers who have to live together with lots of fun. Everything begins Drake’s mother gets engaged with Josh’s father and makes the two of them share the same house and the same room. To get worse, they have to handle with Drake's little sister, Megan, whose parents think is a little angel, but her hooby is to get trouble for Drake and Josh, who call her a little demon.
The last episode I remember I've seen was when Drake and Josh wanted to be the firsts to ride on the biggest rollercoaster, that's premiere was going to be that night. But when they had everything planed, their parents told them to stay home and watch Papa Nichols, their grandfather, who had made a surgery and would sleep for some time. But when their parents left, they told Megan to stay and watch Papa Nichols. But Megan said that she would ride on that rollercoaster too. So after a Megan's blackmail, they decided to take her and call his friends to watch Papa Nichols. Then they had to go, ride the rollercoaster and come back before their parents. But to get worse, they got on trouble and had to go to the end of the line three times. Then in the end they could get at home before their parents and everything was fine.
In my opinion watching some TV series as entertainment is really good. You can rest and forget a few of your busy days enjoying the stories. I think Drake & Josh is a good choice because you can laugh a lot with the funny stories, relax and sometimes, improve your english.

But to get worse, they got on trouble and had to go to the end of the line three times. Then in the end they could get at home before their parents and everything was fine.
In my opinion watching some TV series as entertainment is really good. You can rest and forget a few of your busy days enjoying the stories. I think Drake & Josh is a good choice because you can laugh a lot with the funny stories, relax and sometimes, improve your english.

| This Tv series is set in a lively suburb where there is a nice family. There is Michael Kyle, a loving husband and bald patch man who teaches his three children some of life’s lessons, he does so with his own brand of wisdom, discipline and humor, his favorite sport is golfe. His wife is Jay Kyle who worry about her appearance, she always wants to lose weight. They have three kids, they are Junior Kyle - a not very smart guy but creative - Claire Kyle - who loves shopping - and Kady Kyle who is spoiled child. The last episode I had seen, they were going to Hawai on vocations, at first one gay helped Claire to cath her backpacks and suitcases, she couldn´t resist and she flirted the guy, his father felt jealous and told her to get out there. Junior knew one girl who he promised her that he will never leave her alone. Mike and Jay used they time together and happy with family. My opinion obout it: In my opinion, TV series are better than soap opares because whe can watch any episode without have seen the last epsode because all of it are different historys. |

In my opinion, this soap opera makes a lot of success because it talked about; the problems that all teenagers have, about love, money, fights etc and was very funny . It was very good. Sometimes I decided to no go out with my friends just to see it, I bought the DVD’s that have all the soap and went to the RBD's concert. I think soap operas in general makes success because they show the real life with a lot of 'glamour'.

This soap opera talks about many groups of teenagers that study at Múltipla Escolha, and the principal story is about a couple that cannot be together.This time the most important couple is Marcela and André.André is a poor boy that is in love with Marcela, who is rich.Most part of story happens at Múltipla Escolha, Gigabyte, that is a snake bar and in the teenagers houses.There are others characters too, Vilma, one of Giga's owner; Siri and Rafa, Vilma's employees; João, the other owner of Giga; Priscila, João's girlfriend; Eduardo is a rich student of Múltipla Escolha and Francesca is his girlfriend.
In the last episode, Marcela returned to work for Fábio.Rafa and Siri called Vilma, but she didn't answer and they became worried.Eduard,who knows that Franscesca had danced before the accident, asked she to dance for him and she accepted.Priscila, João's girlfriend, is working at Gygabite and giving crazy orders, because she was thinking she was better than the others employees.The episode finished with Marcela, who had brokes up with André, kissing Fábio, her present boyfriend.
In my opinion Malhação is a mix of adventure, romance, comedy and this mix makes a very cool and interesting soap opera that makes us curious about the next chapter.

Trick It Out
For years , Trick it out has been customizing cars for MTV . But now they have invited the top auto shops in Los Angeles for a competition .On each episode of Trick it out , two teams of four cars artisans will represent their shops , each team gets 10 days and $15,000 to use their skills to customize a car . RJ Devera is the person that will determine the winner of each Trick it out episode , they chose him , because he’s one of the bests cars artisans in the USA . The team that loses has to give the car that they made to the other team.
Last episode Auto Accessory made a car with a “bat” style , it was black , and it was a HONDA . Auto Customization was the other team , they made a car with a “club” style , it had a DJ machine on it , and a lot of TVs with DVDs . The winner was Auto Accessory . They were better than Auto Customization.
In my opinion Tv programs are really important to entertain our life and make us happy . I think that Trick it out is the best program because I love cars and in this program I can see how the artisans customize them . If you like cars you should watch this program , it’s great!

24 HOURS
24 hours is a very good TV series that talks about 24 hours in a man’s life who is one member of CTU (counter terrorist unit). This man is called Jack Bauer. At CTU, he and his colleges try to stop every terrorist attack, and doing this he has to solve many problens.
In the last episode of 24 hours, Jack Bauer is called to an urgent mission at CTU to save the candidate for president, but at the same moment his daughter was hanging out without his permition, and that made him very angry and worried. However, he said that he would go, because he couldn’t let the terrorists do any injury to anybody or capture the candidate for presindent. But he told his wife to take care of their daughter. At the end, after many problems, Jack Bauer saved the candidate for president and his daughter.
In my opinion, 24 hours is a very good TV series, because it makes anyone very curious to see what will happen in the next chapter. In addition, it has a really good story. I think this kind of series is very interesting and exciting, because makes a good mixture of accion and suspense.
