Perennial Postage Bundle - Stamping With Friends - Tic Tac Toe Card Challenge

I'm excited to be participating in this Stamping With Friends Blog Hop and the Tic Tac Toe Card Challenge! I'm sure you are just as excited as I am to see all of the different styles and types cards the demonstrators in this blog hop have created, so be sure to "hop" all the way around to see every demonstrator's blog post.

A Little Tic Tac Toe Fun

I have to be honest, this is the first time I've participated in a Tic Tac Toe challenge. I decided make a quick & easy card and to use the bottom horizontal row: DSP, Free space, Butterfly.

For the DSP I chose PERENNIAL LAVENDER, for the Free space I chose LOST LAGOON BORDERED RIBBON, and then I choose the PAPER BUTTERFLY ACCENTS. I used Pool Party and Lost Lagoon with BLENDING BRUSHES to give the butterfly some color.

I just love the postage stamp edge of the PERENNIAL POSTAGE dies, and what can be better than hugs sent through the mail!

Here's how the overall design of the card came out. I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. 😊

Easter Bunny Spring Card - Share It Sunday Blog Hop

I am happy to be participating in the Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop. You will be inspired by all of the different themes and styles in this blog hop. Be sure to "hop" all the way around to see every demonstrator's blog post!

When You See a Bunny, Do You Think of Spring?

I admit, I often do. And the EASTER BUNNY stamp set and EASTER BUNNY punch make adorable spring, and Easter, cards! I paired them up with the SUNNY DAYS Sale-A-Bration 2024 Designer Series Paper (DSP)---see more info about how to get this limited edition paper at the end of this blog post---and the LOOSE DAISY embellishments for two versions of a great card.

The first version I made has a spring time focus. Look closely at the grass. I hand cut the blades of grass with my Paper Snips scissors.

For the second version, I made an Easter card. You will notice that the grass on this card is very straight and uniform. That is because I used the fringe die from the BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS dies. It was very quick to do the grass this way.

Which version of the grass do you like best?

Did you notice how the bunny really stands out from the card? I used a special little piece called a "wobble" to attach to the bunny. It not only gives the bunny dimension, it makes it "move" too! Watch this how to video to see how this card was made:
