It makes me sad that Tom Allen isn’t releasing any more new stamps.  He was partnering with Cornish Heritage Farms and since they are no longer, neither is Tom Allen’s Friendly Kritters!  If anyone knows of a stamp company that would love to partner with him, I can definitely hook them up!  Here are several images from his line that I have colored recently.  I have yet to make them into cards.  Hopefully once the basement is painted and stuff is put back in it’s place, I will find my craft room again!

Sorry the photos aren’t the best.  My photocube is lost in the black hole called my basement!!!  Some have a yellow cast or shadow. Sorry!

Until Next Time…..Happy Coloring!

About a month ago I attended my first Copic workshop class at a LSS called The Scrapbook Page.  It is about 35 miles from my house and I don’t usually go there.  A friend of mine called and asked if I would like to take the class with her.  I thought it sounded like loads of fun and it would also get me using these markers I’ve been collecting but not really using.  I’ve taken the certification class, but haven’t been that confident in using them.  This class was definitely worth it!!!  Below are 2 of the images we colored that day.

Until Next Time…..Happy Coloring!

I know that I haven’t been on here much.  I have made a few cards, but they haven’t made it to my blog yet!!  Here are the ONLY 3 Christmas cards I made this year.  Sad, I know.  We’ve had a lot going on (in all areas of life) and I just haven’t made stamping a priority at this time.  I am looking forward to getting back down to my craft area soon.  We are in the middle of a basement fix so that has put my stamping desires on hold!  Anyway…..even though Christmas is over….enjoy these 3 cards!!

This card and the snowman one to follow were both inspired by Dawn Giffith!  She is amazing and I loved the concepts!!

Until Next Time…..Happy Creating!!

Card for my Daddy!

This fall our family was hit with some shocking news.  My Dad had an accident at work that made him very sick.  He eventually had to go to the hospital.  After all of the tests and scans they found that he had cancer.  Imagine our surprise!  I know that many of you have had the same experience and the outcome was not well.  I am thankful that the cancer that my Dad has is Thyroid and one of the most treatable.  Below is the card that I made to send to him.
