Well, that was a lovely surprise in my inbox just now. Nick Allott
and his team at nquiringminds
have been coming to Swedish Beers for I don't know how long, but this is their first time sponsoring. So let's give them a very warm welcome!
nquiringminds provides intelligent trusted systems, combining deep AI powered analytics with strong cyber secure fundamentals. It's a deep tech UK company, which since 201 has been successfully deploying its solutions into smart cities, health care, industrial, agricultural, fintech sectors, with defence and security becoming increasingly dominant.
The company also has an impressive pedigree: Cisco identified nquiringminds as being a Top 15 Company in IOT. They were awarded a Cabinet Office Open Data Champion Award, a Parliamentary Nomination for Innovation in Productivity and Most Innovative Solution award at the Ministry of Defences AI Hackathon. They won an IOT Boost award for their health care product line, and Cyber Savvy Company of the year award for their security credentials.
The former UK Prime Minister , Teresa May, selected nquiringminds to represent the best of UK Innovation on her first ever trade mission. nquiringminds is one of only two SMEs to feature as a case study in the UK Governments £4.6 billion Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund Whitepaper. They have featured as one of TMForums Industrial IOT 5G Catalyst projects and are a TechNation Cyber 2.0 alumni. Recently Techworks recognised nquiringminds as DeepTech company of the year in 2022. They are a DCMS UK’s Most Innovative Cyber SME 2022 finalist.
I think it's safe to say, they know what they're talking about!
Whilst in Barcelona, you'll find them at MWC in Hall 7 at 7A15 where they're launching two new products:
TDXVolt: a zero trust services infrastructure platform and
CyberTDX: a cognitively enhanced cyber defence service designed for the internet of things (IoT)
Both products are the latest iteration of the TDX product family.

You know you're doing something right when previous sponsors want to get in on the action again. And that's exactly what's happened with the lovely people at 51Degrees
. They are long time supporters of Swedish Beers and I'm thrilled to bits to welcome them back. As they're old hands at this, they can show you the ropes and they'll have a bunch of beer tokens to share out too.
So what do they do?
51Degrees does very nifty things with device detection. They've been doing this for a long time so really know what they're doing. They can provide you with real-time data super-powers for your digital business. So if you want an easier way to optimise your products, websites, apps and ads, chat to James and Paul on the night.
If you'd like to book a meeting with them, you can do that by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
with the subject line "Let's chat at MWC23".
You'll be able to spot James and Paul at Mobile World Congress and Swedish Beers as they'll be wearing red shirts with the 51Degrees logo.
I'm very pleased to announce the support of World Mobile for our Swedish Beers bash on Wednesday night.
World Mobile wants to live in a world where everyone can participate in economic empowerment without the restraints of location or origin. They want to allow consumers to be able to make well-informed purchases and for businesses to thrive in the global market. Moreover, the World Mobile Team is on a mission to create an innovative, high-impact mobile network with a tangible socio-economic effect by connecting the unconnected and offering free telephony to otherwise isolated areas through partnership schemes.
Using blockchain technology at the core of their network, protection, security and the sovereignty of subscriber's data is at the heart of what World Mobile does. And by allowing subscribers to own and operate elements of the infrastructure, World Mobile is building distributed, censorship-resistant, trustless and borderless communication channels to emancipate people around the world.
Sounds pretty nifty, I'd say. James, Josie, Holly and the World Mobile Team will be able to tell you much more on the night. And of course, they'll have the beer tokens, so do search them out when you come!
Find out more about World Mobile over on their website or LinkedIn or contact Josie to arrange a meeting at their expo space at this year's Mobile World Congress.

Yes, that's right, we're back! Fighting fit and raring to go.
Despite having had to take an enforced break due to the pandemic and family responsibilities, and despite thinking I was done with the whole mobile networking event thing, and despite not deciding to go to Barcelona until a week ago, here I am, hosting another Swedish Beers party for you all during the week of Mobile World Congress.
I'm both thrilled to bits and a little bit scared at the same time as I'm a bit out of practice. But with the outpouring of Swedish Beers love from so many people and amazingly supportive sponsors and friends, I'm delighted to tell you that we're back one more time. This one will be my 15th Swedish Beers party in Barcelona!
As usual, we'll be expecting a down-to-earth crowd of mobile execs from all areas of the industry keen to chew the fat about all things mobile over a drink or three.
Our lead sponsor is World Mobile who have found an innovative way to connect the last mile for the half the planet who are currently unconnected.
You do need to register to come and we reserve the right to ask for ID on the door. And if it's busy, there may be a short wait to get in. Please be patient with us if that happens. We will do our best to get everyone in.
