Hey Lost Cartographers fans,

We're happy to announce a couple of upcoming duo shows at opposite ends of the city. Come hang with Gabrielle and Aaron, along with special guest fiddler Sarah Blick, at Andersonville's Midsommarfest as we kick off Saturday, June 7th's festivities at 11am on the Out Rock Stage at Clark and Balmoral. There's a $10 suggested donation for festival admittance.

Then on Thursday, June 12th, head to the South Side and the always awesome Reggie's Music Joint for a 7:30pm show (Sarah will also be joining us for this one). Two of Oklahoma's favorite sons, Matt Mason and Bloody Ol' Mule, round out the bill. Just five bucks at the door.

When last we met our heroes, they were playing pretty acoustic tunes in one of the city's finest music rooms, opening for a pair of teenage chanteuses (chanteaux? chanteae? Whatever.) Now come watch them try to blow the doors off a honky-tonk while opening for Cask Mouse, a band from Boston whose motto is "show up clean and early, leave late and dirty." Come out Saturday, March 22, to The Horseshoe (4115 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago) to see what the hell happens next. 10pm, additional details (cover and such, if there is one) TBA. If you'd care to RSVP on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/501054140014197/, well, that would be just swell. See you then!

Happy new year, friends! We've got just the activity to shake you out of your polar vortex stupor: come join Gabrielle and Aaron as we make our third appearance onstage in the city's best music room on January 25th. This time we'll be opening for teenage folk phenoms Lily and Madeleine (http://lilandmad.com/). Doors open 6:30pm, we go on at 7pm. It's an all ages show, and tickets are $12 (you can buy them online in advance at http://schubas.com/Shows/01-25-2014+Lily+and+Madeleine). If you think you'll be able to make it, let us know on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/251965331637150

You know all those times you thought, "Gee, I wish I could hear some Lost Cartographers songs during a crisp Saturday afternoon while eating delicious tacos in a rustically stylish environment?" Well, friend, you're in luck. As part of Chillfest Chicago (http://www.chillfestchicago.com/) on Saturday, November 16, Gabrielle and Aaron will be playing a free acoustic duo show at Antique Taco (http://antiquetaco.com/) from 4:30-5:30. Come wander Wicker Park/Bucktown and sample from over 100 acoustic acts performing throughout the neighborhood.
