Birds Eye View (1)

A little birdy told me... I just love this set it's simply adorable! I stamped the bird first then the glasses using Memento ink on Basic White card stock. I colored the bird with Stampin' Blends Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade, and Daffodil Delight. I also stamped the branch and leaves Memento ink on Basic White card stock. I colored the branch with Stampin' Blends Pecan Pie and Granny Apple Green. No matching die with this stamp set so I fussy cut everything out.

For the background I cut a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock and Basic White card stock. I used the Sketch Plaid Background and the Granny Apple Green Ink to add a pattern to the card stock. The Basic White card stock I zipped through Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Then I ripped the edge of the Basic White card stock.

Birds Eye View (3)

I used the Deckled Circle Dies to cut out a piece of Brights Designer Series Paper. I stamped the hello from Simply Said Stamp Set in Memento ink. To finish I added some Linen Thread, Black & Vanilla 3/8 Large Check Ribbon. I stapled one end for a fun touch. Then finished my card out with Glossy Dots Assortment.

I fell in love with this set when I saw it in the catalog right away. I did decided to not add a sentiment to this card so I can use it for anything. I also used on of the new colors called Basic Beige and I am in love with that as well.

Rubber Redneck Quick Shots:

  • Cut a piece of Basic Beige card stock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 with the Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer. Score with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool at 4 1/4. Fold on the scored line and press down with the Bone Folder creating a card base. Set this aside for a bit.
  • Cut a piece of Pecan Pie card stock 4 x 5 1/4. Zip it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Set aside for a bit.
  • Cut a piece of Wild Wheat card stock 3 1/2 x 3 1/2. Zip it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere it to the Pecan Pie card stock on the left side.
  • Cut a piece of Country Woods 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper 2 3/4 x 4 3/4. Adhere to the Pecan Pie card stock on the right side. Cut some Petal Pink & White 1/4 Diagonal Trim Combo Pack Ribbon and wrap around the layers. Adhere the Pecan Pie card stock to the Basic Beige card base.
