The last place my family and I traveled to while I was in high school was Destin, Florida, a small beach in the panhandle flanked on both sides by other equally-beautiful white sand beaches. It was known as one of the go-places for families, whereas the beach a little bit further west, Panama City Beach, was where we went for Spring Break. In a word, Destin was family beach; everything else was a somewhere-else kind of beach.
